25'
Cooper flights a ball over the top for Bamford to run on to. He's behind the Fulham defence but takes a touch too many and Odoi rescues the visitors.
23'
Philips has been excellent in Leeds' midfield. He looks every inch a Premier League player. Of course, he has now also been capped for England. He has a bright future.
21'
Harrison's low cross in the middle is cut out by Onomah. The break is on for Fulham but they don't move the ball quickly enough.
20'
Areola is called into his first meaningful action of the afternoon (apart from picking the ball out of his net), punching clear Philips' in-swinging free-kick. It's a good strong punch, too.
19'
Cooper switches the play to find Ayling on the opposite flank. Tremendous work rate from Cavaleiro to win the ball back though and prevent the corner.
18'
Possession stats read 50-50.
17'
Left unmarked to open the scoring, there are now two defenders on Costa as he tries to create an opening from the right. He squeezes his cross into the middle but it's straight into the arms of Areola.

Fulham are enjoying a spell of pressure now. They force three consecutive corners, with the latest punched clear by Meslier. Reed is well positioned for a shot but balloons it over the bar.
13'
Close! Fulham threaten from a corner, this time. For all of the world Hector looks like he will head the visitors level from Cavaleiro's delivery but Koch gets a vital deflection to send the ball over Meslier's bar for another corner.
11'
This is quite a stat.
9'
That was Helder Costa's second goal in the Premier League. You will remember he played for Wolves before joining Leeds in the Championship.
7'
Leeds smell blood, after their early opener. They force another corner and again Fulham's defending is questionable. This time Parker's men survive, though.

GOAL! Leeds 1-0 Fulham (Helder Costa): Leeds are ahead already! Much has been said of Fulham's defending and again their marking is nonexistent. Costa peels away to the far post as Philips' corner is delivered. The ball falls into his path and with a sweet left foot he hammers the hosts in front.

Not far away! Bryan, the scorer of Fulham's winner in the play-off final, tries to repeat his heroics as he bends the free-kick over the wall but he can't quite get his angles right and Meslier can watch it drift wide of his far post, although it isn't far away.
3'
Mitrovic will prove a handful as Fulham's lone striker. He buys a cheap foul from Cooper and Fulham have a free-kick in a crossing position on the right.
2'
Forget what I said earlier. Anthony Taylor has arrived in time and will be the man in the middle today.

Kick-off! Fulham, in their all red away kit, get us underway at Elland Road.

A late change to the Leeds starting XI as Hernandez has picked up a groin injury in the warm-up. He's replaced by Rodrigo, who makes his first Premier League start.

Pre-match fact: This will be Leeds' first home game in the Premier League since their return to the division; they have only lost their opening home match in one of their previous 12 seasons in the competition (W8 D3), a 0-2 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in August 1996.
