Hello and welcome to LIVE updates of the final weekend showdown between Liverpool and Crystal Palace in front of 10,000 fans at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp’s men have a top-four finish firmly in their sights and know a victory - assuming Leicester don’t hit a cricket score against Spurs - will conclude a disappointing season on a relative high. Palace are aiming to throw a spanner in the works in what is boss Roy Hodgson’s final match at the helm. Kick off 16.00 BST.

Andros Townsend on Hodgson: “He’s been incredible. Now Crystal Palace is seen as a Premier League outfit, and that’s down to Roy Hodgson. Before he came in, we were flirting with relegation every year. I saw a stat: other than in his first few months, we haven’t been in the relegation zone since he’s been here. So that’s the job he’s done. He’s made us into a solid Premier League outfit.”

Hodgson: “We’ve talked about it before, for me the stability of the club is a very important thing. I believe the club will push on and will get better, stronger. Being in the Premier League itself is a vital component for teams like ours. I’d prefer my departure to be met with the idea that there is a stable base, there is a good group of players here,  the club’s in very good condition financially, playing wise. There are opportunities to get a stronger squad together, but let’s not put the new manager in a different light, having kept the club in the league in around the middle of the league. Personally I prefer expectations to remain at a realistic level.”

Klopp on whether he'll be keeping one eye on events elsewhere: "It’s like this: if nothing really strange happens and Leicester are all of a sudden five or six-nil up and it’s still 0-0 at ours and these kind of things, I don’t think we should have a look there because we have it in our own hands anyway. We will not be involved in that – the team not, I will not be involved – until something really strange happens and then I am pretty sure somebody will tell me, ‘OK, this result in the moment is not enough, so we should go to the next gear’ or whatever. If that’s possible, because in my mind we play an absolutely top game, that’s the plan: we are on top of everything of our game. That’s the plan and then nobody should have to remind us of anything. No, we will not really look there until something happens which is interesting for us."

Liverpool are unchanged from the win at Burnley but do have captain Jordan Henderson back on the bench following injury. Diogo Jota joins him after Klopp had initially feared his season was over. Meanwhile, Palace make two changes for Hodgson’s final hurrah. Jordan Ayew and Jairo Riedewald come in.
