Thiago on his burgeoning midfield partnership with Fabinho: "He is a very smart and intelligent player. He knows how and where to be on the pitch, and he has great strength in challenges. He's there, he's strong and he wins all the battles for us. Sometimes he has to handle not just his own player but my player or another team-mate's player as well, but he does a great defensive job and you can see also that sometimes he goes forward in an offensive way and does amazingly for us as well."

Obviously they have got extra motivation with it being Roy Hodgson’s last game, I’m sure they’ll want to give him a fantastic send-off. We need to be able to use our motivation to our advantage and put in the performance like we’ve been doing the last couple of weeks. If we can use the positive attitude and the positive mindset we’ve got just now, I believe if we take that into the game hopefully it’ll be good enough to win the game.”

Andros Townsend on Hodgson: “He’s been incredible. Now Crystal Palace is seen as a Premier League outfit, and that’s down to Roy Hodgson. Before he came in, we were flirting with relegation every year. I saw a stat: other than in his first few months, we haven’t been in the relegation zone since he’s been here. So that’s the job he’s done. He’s made us into a solid Premier League outfit.”
