Richarlison goes down after being squeezed by both Andersen and Hughes, coming off second-best. A quick delay as Mitchell receives some treatment by the physios.

Zaha does well to get past Iwobi down the left byline, before threading in a through ball towards the near post for Mateta to chase, but the striker is crowded out.

Zaha does well to hold off Coleman before touching it through to Schlupp down the left, and the midfielder has space to run into. He sends a low cross into the box for Mateta, but Gomes cuts it out and concedes the corner.

The delivery then comes in, and Schlupp manages to latch on to a flick-on, but his effort is poor and it goes well wide of the far post on the volley.

Holgate tries to hit a cross-field switched long ball for Gordon to chase inside the box, but there is too much on it and it goes out for a goal kick.

Ayew has a half chance for Palace with a header from a Mitchell cross from inside the area, but it goes well wide of the goal.

Gordon nicked the ball off Zaha and then subsequently got angry when he felt the forward tried to trip him up. They square up briefly as tempers flare. However, the referee does not get his book out.

Everton's recent home form has helped them pick up valuable points as they look to secure their Premier League status.

The Toffees have lost just once in their last five games at Goodison Park, with wins against Manchester United, Chelsea and Leicester in that run.

As for Crystal Palace, they do still have a top-ten finish in their sights. A win tonight would take them above both Brighton and Leicester on goal difference and into 9th place.

For Everton, they will be looking to do all they can to get the win tonight and also be hoping Burnley fail to win against Aston Villa.

If both end up happening, the Toffees' Premier League status will be secured with one game to spare.

After an unbeaten run against Palace that lasted 12 matches and over six years, Everton have now tasted two defeats on the spin against the Eagles, and the last meeting between the sides saw the South Londoners defeat them 4-0 in the FA Cup quarter-final.

Patrick Vieira makes three changes to Crystal Palace's line-up from their 1-1 draw away at Aston Villa on the weekend.

Will Hughes, Jeffrey Schlupp and Andre Ayew all come into the side.

Everton make just one change from their 3-2 defeat to Brentford last time out, as the suspended Jarrad Branthwaite is replaced by Michael Keane in defence.
