United move it about and eventually find Fernandes, who looks to lift for Ronaldo at the back post, but gets too much on it and the ball drifts wide.
33'
United keep playing backwards and square, slowly. It's an Ole performance, basically.

Better from United, Sancho finding space down the right and moving inside to Dalot, who curls a low shot that Ronaldo almost gets a poke to before Krul snaffles.
31'
United counter, a smart pass into midfield from McTominay setting them away. But when the ball goes to Ronaldo on the left, he gets his feet in a tangle and is easily dispossessed by Aarons.
30'
United aren't really pressing Norwich's back four in possession and I'm not sure why. They were much more energetic against Palace last week.
29'
Then Placheta counters down the right, steps inside, and dinks a lovely ball over the top for Rupp on the near side of the box! He squares for Pukki, whose feet aren't soft enough to control and the chance vanishes.
28'
After some sideways stuff, Maguire looks to hit Rashford, but Sorensen does well to intercept.
28'
So far, Ronaldo is mainly playing to the right and Rashford to the left. I wonder if they might get a bit closer together.
26'
Sargent worries Dalot as he tries to allow the ball to run over the line, and it's Dalot who play it last, handing Norwich a corner ... which David De Gea comes and catches! Not words I ever expected to write.
25'
Better from United, Bbruno slipping in behind for Rashford, who's grabbed by Kabak. Rashford wants the ref to intervene, but Kabak let go of him just in time. Had he not have done, he'd be off.
23'
United have been slow in getting the ball forward so far, playing sideways and backwards too often. They will, I imagine, be getting telt when they return to the dressing room at half-time.

Hanley departs, with Sorensen, a midfielder who's played full-back, replacing him. Good luck, old mate.
20'
Hanley's moving, but he's got his arm tucked against his chest. Norwich don't have many options in terms of replacing him, giving Omibadele's unavailability, but they've got to make the change.
18'
United are playing a bit better now. They've not got the passing going in midfield, but territorially, they're starting to control the space.
16'
The first corner yields a second and United maintain pressure, then Bruno swings crossfield for Ronaldo who swings into a perfect air-shot - the crowd love it every bit as much as you'd expect and every bit as much as they should. To console himself, Ronaldo tries to beat Hanley on the outside, and when the defenders get his body in the road, he ensures they fall together. Hanley looks in some pain, landing on his shoulder, but I think he'll be ok.

Telles swings over the wall, it clips Sargent, then clips the bar! Krul may have got a touch too, but it was one of those that never really liked like it was going in.
13'
Sancho wriggles fowrard and finds Rashford, who's challenged by Kabak. There's not much in it, but the defender doesn't get the ball and stops Rashford from playing it, so I'm not totally surprised the ref appraises a free-kick, which is 25 yards out, left of centre. There's a queue of players wanting it, but I think it'll be Telles...
13'
Bruno wins the ball in midfield and immediately looks to set Rashford away through the middle, but there's too much on the pass.
11'
And here is Sancho, feeding Dalot, who sprints to the line and digs out a cross that doesn't pick anyone out. United recycle the ball though, and McTominay drives from the edge, the shot blocked at source.
10'
Sancho and Bruno have now swapped, but Norwich have started by far the better - United have done nothing so far.
9'
Telles plays a poor ball back to Maguire which Pukki intercepts, and Placheta is in the middle! But McTominay does really well, sliding in to put the cross behind, and the corner comes to nowt.
