Telles plays a poor ball back to Maguire which Pukki intercepts, and Placheta is in the middle! But McTominay does really well, sliding in to put the cross behind, and the corner comes to nowt.

I should note, Sancho is playing form the left and Bruno from the right, about which I'm not sure. On the one hand, you get the former coming in on his better foot, but on the other, I'd want the option of him going on the outside and swinging balls in which is less likely this way, and I'd also want Bruno able to drift inside.

Norwich are causing United problems here, Sargent, McLean and Giannoulis making ground down the right. But Bruno gets back in and United clear.
6'
Maguire drives wide for Dalot, but there's not enough on the ball and Sargent intercepts so Dalot boots him. Free-kick, but that might've been a booking too.
4'
Aarons diddles Fred far too easily, but Bruno heads hIs cross away and United eventually break with Ronaldo, whose pass hits the ref. So he plays it again, but the ref blows and gives his team possession, as per the new diktat.
3'
United knock it about at the back then Lindelof goes long, but Ronaldo can't gather. Norwich, meanwhile, are looking to get forward as soon as they get the ball - this might be a decent game.
2'
Giannoulis humps one down the line, but up with it Sargent cannot catch.

It's Rupp at the base of Norwich 's midfield three, not Gilmour. I'm surprised, I thought Smith would be looking at him to orchestrate, but interested to see what he can do higher up.

And away we go!

The players take a knee. All black lives matter.
17:30
Quite right. Rangnick is a seriously impressive speaker.
17:27
Here come the teams!
17:26
These games are very big ones for Fred and Scott McTominay. Both have their qualities, but ultimately, both are decent reserves rather than team elevators. I'm sure that the first position which Rangnick will be seeking to strengthen is theirs.

This is sensational. For the uninitiated, this is Hannibal Mejbri, a United youngster playing in the Arab Cup for Tunisia. He's very very good, and will be in the first team before long, possibly even this season now Rangnick is in charge. He's an attacking midfielder but can pass and move, so if he could slot into the two in front of the defence, if United sign the right player to go next to him, they'll be pretty useful.

"Den", dearie me.

17:16
Dean Smith tells Sky that he was always planning to change from three at the back to four - so I was wrong - and hopes the pace of Placheta gives his team an out-ball. I guess the question is whether he has the physical presence to hold onto it.
17:12
Looks like someone's had a word. Don't recall him ever backtracking after dropping Pogba in it, which suggests Pogba was happy with exactly that.
17:09
I'm looking forward to seeing how Telles does today. He's a serious competitor - Luke Shaw could use his mentality - and though he lacks a bit of pace, he's as good delivering balls into the box.
17:06
Ralf Rangnick wants his team to keep developing in terms of how they press, to keep a clean sheet, and he knows they'll always be dangerous. He had no reason to change the team because United played well last week, so prepared for the game with the same XI and asked specifically about the preference for Telles over Shaw, says he was happy with both full-backs against Palace.
