Hello and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE text commentary of the Premier League clash between Wolves and Chelsea at Molineux. This game is going ahead despite strong reports that the Blues had wanted it postponed due to a number of positive Covid-19 tests in their ranks. Let's get straight to the team news ahead of this 14:00 GMT kick-off!

Important tackle! A perfectly timed tackle from Coady on Pulisic bails his team mates out after Wolves gave the ball away in dangerous territory.

No foul! There are strong appeals for a Kante handball as Wolves try to break but the referee allows play to continue. The visitors would have been through only for that intervention, so should VAR be looking at that?

Chelsea win a free-kick in a dangerous area but Alonso's cross is poor and Sa claims easily.

After a bright start, Chelsea have struggled. Wolves are playing on the front foot, asking questions of the defence and currently look the more likely to open the scoring.

Goal ruled out! Podence taps home at the back post from Marcal's cross and believes he has given Wolves an early lead. However, the offside flag is raised some 20 seconds later and it's not going to count!

Chelsea win a corner after a rapid breakaway. Mount delivers, Wolves eventually clear.

Wolves have some some down their left flank where Marcal has space to deliver a cross. He has team mates in the middle to aim for but Alonso climbs highest to clear.

Tuchel is quite animated on the touchline and clearly isn't happy with his side's start.

Visibility is poor at Stamford Bridge due to heavy fog.

Manchester City are already ahead at St James' Park - Ruben Dias scored the goal.

Rudiger is forced to head behind as Wolves win their third corner of the afternoon. It's played short before a cross is delivered to the far post. Coady's looping header is collected by Mendy.

Chelsea deal with the first corner but Wolves keep the attack alive and Alonso concedes a second successive corner. It comes to little.

Jimenez pounces on a loose pass from James and carries Wolves forward. He rolls it to Podence whose shot is deflected behind for a corner of their own.

Chelsea win their first corner of the game. Pulisic delivers, Alonso attacks it but can't make a clean connection and Wolves scramble clear. A bright start by the Blues!

Offside! Rudiger lifts a ball over the top of the Wolves defence and James races in behind only to see his shot saved by Sa. It wouldn't have counted anyway as the offside flag is raised.

Tuchel on the decision not to postpone today's game: "It is exactly like this, we thought we had a strong case regarding the security and health of players, we have seven positive cases, we were made to be in the bus and travel together for three hours, were in meeting together, in dinner and lunch and the situation does not feel like it will stop if we keep on doing this. We applied to not play and put the situation under control and it was rejected. It is very hard to understand it, we are very concerned about the health of the players. We end up with players who play coming from injuries and we take the risk.

"I am worried from a medical point of view, we have had four days of consecutive positive tests. How will it stop if we are in a bus together and in meetings together if we pretend it is not happening?

"We are disappointed, we are a bit angry."
