With the score 1-1 at Anfield in the crucial Premier League showdown between Liverpool and Manchester City, Jeremy Doku appeared to plant his studs into the chest of Alexis Mac Allister in the area. However, no penalty was awarded and speaking after the match on Sunday, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was insistent that any "football people" would consider it a foul.

Jurgen Klopp says that anyone who thought Jeremy Doku’s challenge on Alexis Mac Allister - during Liverpool and Manchester City's titanic Sunday encounter - did not warrant a penalty kick is not a "football person".
The two age-old rivals met at Anfield as they each looked to edge ahead in the Premier League title race, but instead they drew 1-1.
With minutes remaining in the match, Doku caught Mac Allister’s chest with his studs in the penalty area, but despite the nature of the challenge and a VAR review, the initial decision to play on stood.
That denied Liverpool the chance to claim all three points and go clear of Arsenal at the top of the table, and Klopp voiced his disagreement.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "This is a penalty for all football people on the planet. If you think it is not one then maybe you aren't a football person."
Klopp lamented not just the penalty decision at the end of the game, but also that his team couldn't convert their statistical dominance into victory.
Liverpool had 53% possession, as well as 19 shots to City’s 10. Both sides registered the same number of shots - six - on target over the course of the match.
The point leaves Liverpool and Arsenal tied on 64 points after 28 games, with City having played the same number of games to record just one point fewer.
Klopp told the BBC: "The second half was the best we ever played against Manchester City, definitely.
"They hit the post of course but we should have scored two or three goals. Exceptional football game. Wow.
"For me, we proved today [for] the first time 100 per cent we are exactly where we should be. We will fight for it and see what we can get.
"I don't think I've seen them struggling like they were today. We were outstanding.
"The mother of all results is the performance. The good things we have to keep doing."
