Miley to continue impressive Newcastle breakthrough?
Lewis Miley, 17, is profiting from a lengthy injury list at Newcastle - but the teenage midfielder is showing he is more than ready for the first team.
The England Under-19 international impressed in the 4-1 win over Chelsea, providing the key pass for Alexander Isak's opening goal, in what was his fourth appearance of the season.
He also started against PSG on Tuesday night, impressing at times on the same side of the field as Kylian Mbappe.
"He looks like a man in your presence, and also his maturity. He doesn't behave like the average 17-year-old," said Newcastle manager Eddie Howe.
"But it's important we do remember how young he is and we look to protect him as well. It's my job to do that and educate him in the right way on and off the pitch.
"He comes from a very good family who won't allow him to go over the top in any way."
Ten Hag wants Garnacho to show consistency
Alejandro Garnacho is riding the crest of a wave after his stunning overhead kick in Manchester United's 3-0 win at Everton - but his manager Erik ten Hag says he needs to be producing special moments more often.
The winger, who also , has been in and out of the first team this season - and Ten Hag is wary not to compare him with previous United greats like Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo.
"You have to do it on a consistent basis and so far he has not, but he definitely has high potential to do some amazing things," said Ten Hag.
"It's not the first time we saw this, we have already often seen glimpses, but if you want to be a player like Rooney or Ronaldo you have to score 20-25 goals in the Premier League each season.
"That's not easy to get, you have to work hard, you have to go in areas where it hurts. So there's a lot to come. But potential, he has."
