There's the final whistle! Parma 1-3 Napoli!

Giovinco with one final chance to do some damage with a free-kick 35 yards from the Napoli goal...though his high ball into the area is straight into the hands of De Sanctis.

Well, before today people were talking about whether Napoli could hold onto their final Champions League place. Now they'll be asking if they can possibly catch Milan at the top of the table!

Great chance for Cavani now after another quick counter-attack...but once again he is profligate when the ball falls his way. This time he leans right back and lifts it well over the bar.

Parma will look back on this second half ruefully. They have shot themselves in the foot in the most spectacular fashion. Three goals conceded and a red card.

Napoli are able to pick Parma off with relative ease now, such is the amount of space they have.

Zuniga plays it into Cavani from the left touchline, Cavani shifts the ball onto his right foot and buys himself a yard of space to get the shot in, but he bends it well wide of the far post.

Parma have just five minutes plus stoppage time to prevent another defeat that would see them really sucked into a relegation battle.

Napoli bring on Cribari in place of Santacroce, who now trots of the pitch without a problem, much to the annoyance of the home fans.

Santacroce looks to have a touch of cramp - either that or it's a calf injury. Either way, Parma are keen for the game to continue.

Santacroce plays it infield to Lavezzi, who in turn lays it off for Cavani who comes steaming in from the right flank, the angle is tight for the shot, he takes it on anyway, and blasts it wide of the target! He's not really enjoying the best of form at the moment.

...which is exactly what happens again, and Valiani breaks it up with a cynical foul that earns him a yellow card. No arguments there from anyone.

Another corner now for Parma - and the fact that Parma are committing so many men forward at each corner mean that Napoli always have half a chance of a counter-attack....

Palladino wins another corner for Parma, who are making a decent fist of a fightback here. Giovinco with the cross, but it's right down the throat of De Sanctis, who tries to set his side off to another quickfire counter-attack.

Yebda is replaced by Gargano for Napoli.

Zuniga brings it clear and Napoli have a two-on-one situation as Cavani is sprinting upfield too, Zuniga tries to draw the sole defender before laying it across for Cavani...but the pass is overhit, Cavani is forced out wide, and the golden chance is gone!!!
