Inter build well until Maicon finds Zarate on the edge, who draws a save from Sorrentino. He didn't really get hold of that how he would have liked. First half chance.

Neither side winning the midfield war of attrition.

Quite a turgid half thus far.

Chievo looking very much the side that have only conceded one in their last four.

Vacek wins a corner from Nagatomo and the visitors have their first opportunity to test the home defence but Inter defend it well. Goal kick.

Paazzini latches on to a superb Sneijder through ball but his effort is deflected wide for a corner. Poor delivery and the visitors break.
9'
The visitors look to make some in-roads in the Inter defence but the run is miss-timed.
8'
Inter continue to look neat but lack that killer ball in the final third.
6'
A very composed start from the visiting side here; while Inter appear happy to drop off and allow space.
5'
Early shout for a penalty from Inter. Waved away.
4'
A lot slower start to this one than the game involving the other Milan team today.
2'
A neat exchange of early passing break downs with a stray one from Sneijder.

Inter’s renaissance under Claudio Ranieri has been short lived as defeats to Napoli and Catania left the Nerazzurri only two points clear of bottom club Cesena coming into this weekend’s round of fixtures.
