Pavel Nedved has spoken, but Fabrizio isn't convinced. There's been no official bids for Ronaldo as of yet, but it's quite telling that he has asked to be benched.

For those that missed them, here are the starting lineups for both sides this afternoon:

Alvaro Morata will need to occupy three centre-backs today, although the wingers Cuadrado and Bernadeschi will hope for some overlapping support from Sandro and Danilo to overload the wide areas, forcing the wide centre-backs into uncomfortable areas to deal with numbers.

Pussetto will be tasked with unlocking a defensive duo of Bonucci and de Ligt, but being roared on by the home crowd, he could well find himself on the scoresheet. Ramsey and/or Bentancur as the six will be interesting, and Pereyra and Walace will look to buzz in and around them to unsettle them should Udinese depart from their defensive system and decide to press the visitors a bit more intensively.

Juventus' Twitter labels their side a 4-3-3, with Bernadeschi tucked in and Ramsey sitting as the 6. It's difficult to comprehend, but we shall see upon kick off.

That's absolutely huge for Juventus if Ronaldo wants to go. He has, as Romano confirmed, asked to be dropped to send the message that he wants to go, and "find a solution on the market".

The visitors, meanwhile, are in a prospective 4-4-2, but that could easily transition into a 4-2-3-1 with Paulo Dybala dropping into the number 10 hole to orchestrate in the pockets, with Alvaro Morata ahead of him as the attacking spearhead. Aaron Ramsey joins Rodrigo Bentancur in the middle of the park, although neither are really known for their deeper-lying orchestration of the game, instead both are famed for their energetic bursts from midfield in a more box-to-box manner. Federico Bernadeschi starts on the left as a natural winger, with Juan Cuadrado off the right in a similar capacity, whilst Matthijs de Ligt returns at last to the heart of defence alongside Leonardo Bonucci, flanked by the Brazilian full-back pair of Danilo and Alex Sandro, who are expected to be more reserved in possession with the width already being provided by two natural wingers.

It's the classic park-the-bus back five appraoch for Udinese here: looking to flood the midfield areas and clog those holes in their defensive third to ensure that Juve have no space for their neat interplay - something that Paulo Dybala thrives off. The solid defensive base of Jean Makengo and Tolgay Arslan will hold the engine room together with Walace and former Juve man Roberto Pereyra a little further forward to support lone striker Ignacio Pussetto, who carries the main goalscoring berth for the hosts today.
