Cagliari have won just one of their last 38 Serie A matches against AC Milan in their previous 38 top-flight games. They have lost on 28 occasions in that time.

Overall the Sardinians have been beaten in 45 of their 80 top-flight clashes with the Rossoneri, their most against any other team in Serie A.

Cagliari are one spot off the bottom of Serie A with two draws and three defeats from their first five matches.

Ranieri's side have managed just six shots on target in that spell with 21-year-old Angolan forward Zito Luvumbo netting their solitary goal thus far.
