Hello and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE text commentary of the FA Cup replay between Tottenham and Southampton. It's the game neither side wanted, but they have got it following a 1-1 draw at the tail end of last month. The incentive for the winner is a home clash with Norwich in the fifth round. Kick-off is 45 minutes away and team news will follow next.

Spurs haven't quite got to grips with the pace of he game yet. It's Southampton dictating the tempo.

Boufal, scorer of Saints' equaliser in the first tie, waltzes his way through the Spurs defence quite easily down the left; he has too much pace for Tanganga and he drills a low ball across the face of goal, almost finding Ings at the far post, but Lloris is alert to the danger and pushes it away from danger.

Shot! Ings controls a diagonal ball on his right foot, cuts onto his left and volleys into the arms of Lloris. He missed a fair number of chances in the original tie and that was perhaps playing on his mind as he opted not to take on the first time volley.

Save! Son makes an intelligent run to latch onto Dier's ball over the top, he lays it off to Sessegnon but it's a tame effort from the youngster and a comfortable stop for Gunn.

It has been a fairly low key start to the match. Tottenham are again playing without a recognised striker. Saints are using a high-press.

KICK-OFF! Southampton get us underway after a tremendous pre-match lights show!

Jose has been talking to BT Sport. "This is a difficult moment for us. I don't have many options to play any more [changes]. Southampton played on Saturday, an extra 24 hours and it makes a big difference." He continued: "This is the last effort of this period then we will have a week without playing. Let's go to try and win the game."

Ten minutes until kick-off at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Did you know - Spurs have won eight of their last nine home games against Southampton (L1), with all games coming in the Premier League; they won 2-1 against the Saints earlier this season.

Neither side would have been forced to play this replay had there been a winner in the original cup tie, played on January 25. Sofiane Boufal's late equaliser cancelled out Son Heung-min's first half opener.
19:25
Hassenhuttl isn't best pleased with the timing of this fixture either. "It's not the best, but we have to accept it," he said. "I'm not a friend of these replays, first because it minimises the chances of the smaller teams to maybe make these big miracles and go through to the next round. The second thing is the schedule. We were all accepting that we would have this replay in the winter break. Maybe next year we should think about if it is really necessary to make it exactly in this week."
19:20
Like Jurgen Klopp, Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is unhappy his side are being forced to play during a 'winter break'. Unlike the Liverpool manager, however, he says he isn't going to complain, although he claims the break "doesn't make any sense", which is kind of complaining.
19:15
Saints boss Ralph Hassenhuttl makes two changes to the team that lost 4-0 to Liverpool on Saturday. Sofiane Boufal replaces Moussa Djenepo, who misses out altogether, while goalkeeper Angus Gunn comes in for Alex McCarthy.
19:10
Hugo Lloris has passed a fitness test and starts for Tottenham, but Dele Alli is only fit enough for the bench, while Giovani Lo Celso and Erik Lamela miss out altogether. January signing Steven Bergwijn is ineligible. In total, there are four changes to the Spurs team that defeated Man City 2-0 on Sunday, with Ryan Sessegnon coming into the fold, as does Jan Vertonghen, Eric Dier and Tanguy Ndombele.
