Nketiah is one of the most lethal finishers at this level of the game, but England have struggled to create opportunities for the England forward. He's been feeding on scraps.
47'
England need to do more to inject some pace and tempo into their play. It's been too slow from them so far, particularly through the centre of the pitch where they have struggled.
46'
No changes made by either manager at the break. Switzerland will likely be the happier of the two teams at this stage, although they might be made to rue that missed Zeqiri chance.

The second half is under way! It's still goalless between England U21 and Switzerland U21 in this U21 Euros group stage fixture!

HALF TIME: England U21 0-0 Switzerland U21. England have dominated possession, but it's the Swiss who really should have opened the scoring through Brighton forward Zeqiri.
44'
Penalty claim! Switzerland believe they should have a spot kick after what they view as a handball by Guehi. The replays show that it did strike the arm of the Englishman. No VAR here!
43'
Nketiah has suffered a frustrating half. England have really struggled to feed the Arsenal forward the ball into feet. The only threat they have posed is through crosses into the box.
41'
England certainly have good options on the bench. Sessegnon, Jones, Eze, Brewster... might we see some of them in the second period to make the difference for Boothroyd's team?
40'
England have dominated possession, they have looked like the better of the two teams for much of the first half, but Switzerland have actually created the best of the chances.
39'
Godfrey climbs! The Everton defender has a run on the corner kick delivery into the box, but the timing wasn't quite right and he glances his header well wide of the target.
38'
Skipp is the one pulling the strings for England in the centre of the pitch, but there is far too much space between the midfielders and the attack. 30 yards between them at times.
37'
Hudson-Odoi is actually the only player in this England U21 squad with experience of the senior set-up after the withdrawal of Mason Greenwood due to injury. He's a key man.
36'
England have looked threatening from set pieces, but Boothroyd will surely want his team to pose more of a threat in open play. They have a number of very creative figures.
35'
Kelly heads wide! The corner kick delivery was a good one, Kelly got on the end of it, but he could only head wide when he probably should have tested Racioppi in the Swiss goal!
34'
Handball claim! There were some half-hearted handball claims after Jankewitz clears behind for a corner kick, but there was nothing in that and the referee shakes his head.
33'
It now appears that England are making more of an effort to get bodies into the box to get on the end of some of these dangerous deliveries. Not many ideas, it must be said.

Not far away! Zeqiri gets on the end of a cross into the box from a short corner, he had to generate all the pace on his header, but the ball flashes only inches wide of Ramsdale's post!
29'
Ramsdale called upon again! Ndoye takes aim from around 25 yards out, it might have been flashing just wide, but Ramsdale wasn't taking any chances and makes the diving save!
28'
This is good possession from England, but they aren't doing a great deal with it in the final third of the pitch. They are struggling to get Nketiah and Hudson-Odoi involved.
27'
England need to make better uses of their wing backs to stretch the game. Would they be better passing inside rather than swinging crosses into the Switzerland penalty area?
