CHANCE! Griezmann leads a three on two break for France, with Giroud to his right and Martial to his left. He gets to the area and eventually lays in Martial, whose shot is well saved by Livakovic from point blank range and Croatia scramble the rebound clear.

Camavinga cuts in from the right and hits a pile driver to the near post, which is well held by Livakovic. Almost the dream start.

France are back in front and it's so simple. Griezmann whips in a corner from the left and Upamecano loses his man to plant a header through Livakovic and into the net.

A double change for France. Kante and Ben Yedder are off, Olivier Giroud and 17-year old debutant Eduardo Camavinga are on.

WHAT A CHANCE! France clear a free kick to the right, where Rebic retrieves the ball and loops it to the back post, where the unmarked Perisic volleys over from six yards.

Perisic finds some room on the left as Croatia break impressively again, but can only loop a cross into the arms of Lloris.
