Croatia are giving away a lot of free kicks, but mostly more than 30 yards from goal. Kramaric then wins one from Upamecano to take off some of the pressure.
22'
Mendy piles forwards down the left, and lays it off to Martial just on the corner of the penalty area, Martial sets one out for the top far corner, but gets under the ball too much and it sails over.

France win a free kick wide on the left. Griezmann whips it to the back post, where Lovren gets up ahead of Nzonzi to deflect the ball behind for a corner.

Another corner for Croatia. They work a short one for Brozovic, but his cross is hopeless and flies out of the back of the penalty area and away from danger.

GOAL! France 0 Croatia 1 (Lovren 16)
Croatia have deserved this. Rebic wins a corner after forcing Lloris to put the ball out when chasing an overcooked through pass. From it, the ball bobbles around and breaks to Lovren. He cuts the ball onto his left foot and arrows a drive through Lloris and into the far corner from 12 yards out.
14'
A glimmer of a chance for Croatia here, as Upamecano loses the ball and Croatia square it to Rebic in the penalty area. Rather than shoot, which looks the better option, he tries a dummy, and the ball is intercepted by Nzonzi and cleared.
12'
France suddenly kick in to gear. Upamecano plays a nice ball through the right channel for Ben Yedder, who eventually wins a corner for the home side.
10'
Melnjak does well to keep the ball in as he breaks down the left. He then slides a through ball to Rebic, who had strayed a yard offside otherwise he was clear.
7'
More lively stuff from Croatia, they're playing with real purpose so far. A forward move on the left eventually breaks down with a stray pass, but it's noticeably more energetic than their efforts against Portugal on Saturday.
4'
Croatia have stated well here. Vlasic wins the ball in midfield and drives forwards. He unloads a shot from 25 yards but it's blocked by Lenglet.
2'
The ball sits up nicely for Perisic, 30 yards from goal. He hits a looping volley but there's no pace on it. and Lloris gathers comfortably.

Anthems done now, we're almost ready to go in Paris.

Croatia have made a habit of humbling the established order of world football in the last 30 years, but the French are one team that they’ve failed to lay a significant glove on. Overall, the record reads Four wins to France and two draws in their six fixtures. The first time they met, France recovered from a one goal deficit to win their 1998 World Cup semi-final in the Stade de France, on their way to winning their home tournament in the same stadium four days later. More recently, the last time the two teams met was in Moscow, where France triumphed 4-2 in the World Cup Final.
19:35
Croatia make three changes to their back four that was ripped to pieces in Porto three days ago, with only Dejan Lovren retaining his place in defence. Ivan Perisic also returns to the team on the left of a front three while Marcelo Brozovic comes in to bolster the midfield.
19:30
The big news for France is that Kylian Mbappe is out after testing positive for coronavirus. In total there are seven changes to the French team that beat Sweden three days ago, with the rejuvenated Anthony Martial getting a run up front tonight in tandem with Monaco’s Wissam Ben Yedder.
