There was some shaky defending throughout and a lot of good fortune too, but it's a comfortable-looking win in the end for Germany against a depleted Ukraine side without multiple players due to injury and illness.

Entertaining half of football featuring chances for both sides, although Germany started to assert themselves later on. Both teams however are looking shaky at the back, but the hosts will be glad to have slowed down the game a bit in the closing minutes of the half as they started to retain possession better.
