This game really illustrates the struggles of playing international football during a pandemic. If any of the German players do contract the virus there could very likely be even more outrage that games such as this are going ahead. For this fixture they were unable to call-up Chelsea forward Kai Havertz because he was diagnosed with Covid-19.

UKRAINE TEAM NEWS
Former Ballon d'Or winner and Ukraine's all-time top goalscorer Andriy Shevchenko has gone for a 4-3-3 this evening.
Roman Yarenchuk, who has been in electric form for Gent, leads the line with the Brazillian-born Marlos to his right and Ferencvaros winger Oleksandr Zubkov to his left. The sixth most-capped Ukrainian Andriy Yarmolenko and several Dynamo Kyiv players have been forced to pull out of the squad with Covid-19, thus weakening them. However, Shakhtar Donetsk veterans Taras Stepanenko and Andriy Pytaov offer some much-needed experience.

GERMANY TEAM NEWS
Germany make 5 changes from the team who drew 3-3 with Switzerland last month as well as only keeping 4 players in the starting line-up from the 1-0 friendly against Czechia a few days ago.
With Joshua Kimmich out injured Low has opted for a back five that features 4 centre-backs, with Matthias Ginter likely filling in at right wing-back. PSV left wing-back Philipp Max, who got an assist on his international debut this week, keeps his place in the starting XI. Leon Goretzka and Ilkay Gundogan will be playing in central midfield, while Serge Gnabry, Timo Werner and Leroy Sane make up the front three.
