Sorry, but that was terrible. There was not one clear-cut chance, very little decent football, and the inverse of excitement. Have a good night!

Full-time: Germany 0-0 France
90'
There'll be two added minutes. But will they actually add anything?

This has been so horrible. Mbappe finds a bit of space and looks to slide Fekir through, but he's not the quickest and Ginter dashes over to rob.

Rudiger sticks another one on Pavard, scything through him just as he knocks the ball off, and is booked - about 80 minutes too late.
86'
On the plus side, this is nearly over.

Another change for France: Tolisso replaces Matuidi.

Off goes Reus, on comes Sane, formerly of Manchester City.

France have a bit of possession, and I think Mbappe is now playing through the middle.

Off goes Griezmann and on comes Fekir of Liverpool.

Germany have turned it up these last few minutes. I'm not sure France have that capacity, or if they do, are bothered to use it. They are basically the least fun team that it's possible to be with the players that they have.
77'
Kante's heavy first touch, inside the box, allows Werner and then Gundogan to shoot; both efforts are blocked.

Muller comes in off the right and looks to cross, getting too much of it ... and Areola has to tip over the bar! Then, from the corner, Ginter is up between Pogba and Varane, heading down and across ... but what a fine save that is from Areola, diving to shove away. He's had a very acceptable debut.

Better from Germany, piling forward on the break with ... Hummels! Found by Reus, he has a look, then clips a cross Muller who should go with head but instead tries to chest and is crowded out. But the ball quickly makes its way back to Hummels, who drills a shot that Areloa punches away.
69'
Germany botch an attack and France charge at them, Mbappe found by Griezmann to streak away at inside-right. He knows that Dembele is inside him, but the square pass is way ahead of where he can reach.
68'
The comeback is on! Ireland now trail Wales by just 4-1.
67'
Already Dembele offers spark, playing a pass for Pavard whose cut-back misses the men in the box.

A change apiece: Germany bring on Gundogan for Goretzka and France bring on Dembele for Giroud.

Ginter again gives the width and crosses low for Reus, who takes the shot on first time, forcing Areola to spring and tip away.

Nice from Pogba, moving the ball behind his standing leg for Griezmann who doesn't need to be asked twice, thunking a riser from 20 yards that Neuer pushes away easily enough.
