Germany botch an attack and France charge at them, Mbappe found by Griezmann to streak away at inside-right. He knows that Dembele is inside him, but the square pass is way ahead of where he can reach.

The comeback is on! Ireland now trail Wales by just 4-1.

Already Dembele offers spark, playing a pass for Pavard whose cut-back misses the men in the box.

A change apiece: Germany bring on Gundogan for Goretzka and France bring on Dembele for Giroud.

Ginter again gives the width and crosses low for Reus, who takes the shot on first time, forcing Areola to spring and tip away.

Nice from Pogba, moving the ball behind his standing leg for Griezmann who doesn't need to be asked twice, thunking a riser from 20 yards that Neuer pushes away easily enough.
