So, there we go! Denmark will play Austria or Spain in the semi-finals, and Germany have failed to make the last four of this competition for the first time.

Well I say! Denmark thoroughly earned that, coming back after gifting the favourites a goal, constantly bothering them, crafting a lovely winner and protecting their lead with strength and composure.

Marozsan goes down the left, gets to the line, snaps in a cross! And Larsen heads clear!

Kerschowski finds herself outside the box down the left, dithers, and the cross is cleared. The ball then finds its way back to her, this time it goes in in a timely manner, and Larsen does very well to head away.

Germany had some kind of pow-wow after conceding that goal, nbut they just need to play better. Anyway, Denmark break and find Nadim out on the left. She cuts in on her right foot and curls a nasty shot just wide of the far upright.

Magull into Marozsan, and she stands up a cross looking for the far post, but Petersen claims easily enough.

WHAT A GOAL! Germany 1-2 Denmark Nielsen into Nadim, who sends a pass out wide to Thogersen. She snaps her toes into a cross, AND THERE'S NIELSEN WHO'S CONTINUED RUNNING TO HEAD DOWN AND INTO THE NET! THE FAVOURITES ARE TOTTERING!

Kerschowski crosses into the box and Islacker can't quite get her head to it, but Germany keep Denmark pinned inside their box and Mahull shoots from outside it, Troelsgarrd deflecting behind for a corner. It comes to nothing.
