3’ - GOAL! Germany 1-0 Denmark (Kerschowski) Oh dear, dear, dear. Jensen takes possession on the left and cuts inside, stealing a yard off Troelsgaard before unleashing a curler. But it's headed straight down the throat of Petersen, not a problem ... until she opts to punch rather than catch, and the ball skims off her knuckles and into the net. They don't come much worse than that.

Confident start from Denmark, moving the ball across the back-four and into midfield, but Dabritz has seen enough, pushing Roddik to assert Germany's presence in the game.

So the winners of this game play Austria or Spain; in the other half of the draw, England or France will play Netherlands.

It'll never not be disappointing to see a Denmark kit and it not be the classic Hummell. On the other hand, this is pretty Vilfort/Poulsen/Laudrup.

Germany are playing 4-3-1-2.
10:28
Other hand, Denmark's 4-4-2 with wingers wearing 7 and 11 and strikers in 9 and 10 is at least partially redemptive.
10:25
Both sides have a number 8 playing in the back-four. I don't know, really I don't.
