Eden Hazard's on a dangerous run, but the finish can't live up to it as his effort flies into the arms of Howard.

And another huge miss for Belgium! Vertonghen gets down the left in acres of space - he should either cut it back for Origi or go himself but he plays it across for Fellaini and the ball is cut out.

Belgium should be ahead! The USA get caught in possession and it's suddenly 5 on 4. De Bruyne is the man left over on the left but when he gets it he takes a touch first to cut inside and then rolls it wide. That was poor.

Now Belgium fly goalwards on the counter, but Origi takes a very heavy touch and Beasley steps in to nick the ball away.

Cameron is everywhere at the moment, and he heads on an American corner which almost falls for Dempsey. He comes back in and nutmegs Kompany but can't get around him.

Cameron has been very good so far but he completely cleans out Dries Mertens here and deservedly goes in the book for his troubles.

A brief pause as a fan is rushed off the pitch. Klinsmann will be very pleased with what he's seen so far.

Belgium look to spring a counter and do well to use their skill and strength to ride the challenges, but Cameron steps in to halt their progress.

Belgium win a corner after a bit of a defensive mix-up from the United States, and they aim for Fellaini with the delivery but Geoff Cameron gets it away.

The USA are on top here, and their midfield runs are causing Belgium all sorts of problems. Fellaini can't keep up.

Bradley in again, but Marouane Fellaini marshals him well and prevents him from getting a ball into the area. USA seeing plenty of possession here.

Bradley gets the ball in midfield and begins to drive goalwards, but he foolishly attempts to play in Clint Dempsey too early and can't reach him.

And Divock Origi almost scores inside 40 seconds! He used his pace to get through, but Tim Howard made the save and then the USA deal with the resultant corner. What a start.

Nobody else is saying it, so I will. The USA national anthem is a bit of a dirge really, isn't it? Almost as bad as God Save The Queen.

Strangely, the US haven't really got the best out of their key players so far. Of course, Jozy Altidore isn't starting but the likes of MIchael Bradley have been really poor so far - they'll need them to really step up tonight.

Apart from Fellaini, it'll also be interesting to see if Kevin de Bruyne can do anything to suggest that Chelsea were wrong to let him go. So far he's been very quiet in the tournament.

Belgium are another team that have not really impressed at this tournament, but when they play the USA, things might be a bit different to how they've gone before. The United States haven't exactly thrilled everyone with scintillating football, but they've been effective, they've scored when they needed to, and they've benn able to get results. That might make them more dangerous than the likes of Switzerland.
