What a result for Belgium! This is a defining win for this group of players. They were exceptional in the first half and that has been enough to carry them through to the final four of the tournament. De Bruyne, Hazard and Lukaku were all superb. This Belgium team are the real deal, make no mistake about it.

WHAT A SAVE! Courtois has denied Neymar a late, late equaliser! Neymar's shot was heading for the top corner of the net, but the goalkeeper tipped over the crossbar.

Hazard has been fantastic for Belgium. He has probably been their best player in this second half. While others around him have tired, he has been crucial in carrying the ball out.

Good defending from Alderweireld. He looked to be in a difficult position, with Neymar isolating him. But the Spurs man matched the Brazilian number 10 and the ball drifted out of play.

A change for Belgium and it's Lukaku who is coming off. That's bold. What if this goes to extra time?

Make no mistake, Belgium are hanging on now. They have forgotten how to pass the ball and that is just inviting pressure on top of themselves from the Brazilians.

BIG CHANCE FOR COUTINHO! Oh what an opportunity that was for Coutinho. Neymar checked back and waited for the run of the playmaker. The pass was a good one, but h skewed his shot well wide.

Finally, Martinez makes a change. Took him long enough. Vermaelen comes on.

SO CLOSE! Renato was inches away from making himself a hero here. He had a clear shot from about 16 yards out, but he puts his shot just wide of the left hand post. Courtois was rooted.

All of a sudden Belgium look very tired. They need some fresh legs to get through the final 10 minutes of this match, yet Martinez is still holding out on making some changes.

FIRMINO NARROWLY OVER! Neymar prods the pass into Firmino at the near post. He manages to turn his marker and get the shot away on goal. It flashes just over the bar. That was close!
