How to watch Portugal take on Morocco in their quarter-final at the 2022 World Cup on Saturday with live stream and TV details, including which channel the match is on. Surely Morocco have at least one more huge shock left to spring on the World Cup after their inspired victory over Spain in the last 16, don't they? We will have to see as Portugal look to avoid the same fate as their neighbours.

'They are better without him' - Analysis after Ronaldo dropped by Portugal

Who will be the third semi-finalist at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar? Morocco are aiming for another stunning upset, having already made history by progressing from their group before booting Spain out on penalties in the last 16.
But Portugal are undoubtedly the favourites after their 6-1 mauling of Switzerland. Still, they will be acutely aware of complacency having seen tournament favourites Brazil knocked out by Croatia on Friday - just days after they smashed South Korea.
Morocco boast the stingiest defence in the World Cup, having conceded just once, and even that was a freak own goal. Goalkeeper Yassine Bounou was the hero as he saved two spot kicks in the shootout against Spain, and he can be expected to be called upon again against the 2016 European champions.
As you've probably (definitely) heard, Cristiano Ronaldo was benched for the last-16 win over Switzerland, with Goncalo Ramos hitting a hat-trick in his absence. It would have taken the bravest of calls from manager Fernando Santos to take out the hat-trick hero, or to be honest change anything at all, after such an emphatic win. He decided to keep Ronaldo on the bench for their quarter-final clash.
Morocco took the lead through Youssef En-Nesyri just before the half-time break. And just after the break Santos decided it was time for Ronaldo.
The winner of this match will, of course, take on either England or France in the semi-finals.

Portugal v Morocco head-to-head

Portugal and Morocco have only met on two previous occasions - both at the World Cup.
On 11 June 1986, Morocco claimed a stunning 3-1 victory, while Portugal got revenge on 20 June 2018 with a fourth-minute goal from... yes, you guessed it, Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo latest

Portugal manager Santos has said that there is no rift between him and Ronaldo, despite dropping the forward for the 6-1 victory over Switzerland in the last 16.
Santos demoted Ronaldo to the bench for Benfica star Goncalo Ramos, who rewarded his manager’s faith with a stunning hat-trick.
Speaking after the game Santos quickly downplayed any suggestions of a rift with Ronaldo.
“There is no problem with our captain,” the 68-year-old Santos said.
“We’ve been friends for years. We spoke before the game and he had no issue with my decision. He’s an example.”

Santos was obviously pleased with the performance against the Swiss, but he stressed that they have to refocus quickly for the quarter-final against Morocco.
"It was a good performance, a great game, the players are to be congratulated," he added.
“They had a very good performance, but now we have to go down to earth. It was great, it was excellent, but now we have one more game in four days.
"It was game strategy, all the players are different. It was what I thought that we would need for this match against Switzerland."
