That’s it for qualifying - a bit of an anti-climax following that lengthy delay. Sebastian Vettel will take to the front of the grid tomorrow aiming for his 9th straight victory. His teammate Mark Webber, intent on finishing his F1 career with a flourish, will start 4th. Until tomorrow, farewell.

Top 10: 1) Vettel, 2) Rosberg, 3) Alonso, 4) Webber, 5) Hamilton, 6) Grosjean, 7) Ricciardo, 8) Massa, 9) Vergne, 10) Hulkenberg.

Unless Massa produces a wonder lap, Vettel will line up on the front of the grid. The Brazilian's lap is average - the world champion will start on pole tomorrow.

What can Grosjean muster? Not much, to be honest, he comes across in sixth. Rosberg moves up to second...

Alonso goes second moments before the chequered flag falls.

Rosberg goes second. Hamilton... Only fourth. Both Mercedes will have one more stab at the Interlagos circuit.

But the Frenchman recovers to go quickest with a 1:27.773. This is going to be very interesting.

Grosjean's first sector isn't that inspiring on the intermediates. And, according to the Mercedes team radio, rain is on the way...

So the final Q3 session of the season gets underway belatedly. The track is much drier than Q2 so intermediates should be expected later on.
-
Interestingly, both Red Bulls are sitting at the pit lane exit even though the session is a full two minutes away.
-
Apparently the countdown is merely a guide and not gospel. Still we wait. Everyone is either huddled under a brolly or in the confines of the garages. Just hearing that there will be a further 10 minute delay due to the amount of water on track. This is all a bit disappointing.
-
Finally. The five minute countdown begins and it won’t be long until we’re back racing. It’s still very murky out on track but the rain has eased slightly.
-
The safety car heads off on a quick trip around the track as its windscreen wipers work furiously.
-
But the stewards have decided to delay the final session by 10 minutes because of the weather.
