The Austrian finished down in 24th on Saturday but ensured he occupied what has become a familiar spot on the top step of the podium with jumps of 130.5m and 126m. They earned him 281.4 points, 3.2 more than both Lovro Kos - who earned his maiden World Cup win earlier in the weekend - and Philipp Raimund, who shared silver.

Kraft also teamed up with Michael Haybock to win the men's super team event on Saturday evening and his individual lead now stands at 209 points from Andreas Wellinger, who was sixth in Lake Placid.
Ryoyu Kobayashi, who sits third overall, will hope to summon inspiration from his home crowd when the competition heads to Sapporo next weekend.
