Americans Jordan Stolz and Erin Jackson were on song at the Short Track World Cup in Salt Lake City. Fresh from smashing the world record in the 100m, Stolz tasted glory in the 500m and 1500m events. Jackson came home for gold in the women's 500m, while the USA men broke the world record in the team pursuit.

Jordan Stolz picked up two victories as the USA enjoyed a brilliant day in the ISU Short Track World Cup event in Salt Lake City.
Stolz was victorious in both the 500m and 1500m, with Erin Jackson imitating him in the women's 500m. On a fine day for the home nation, the men's team pursuit broke the world record on the way to gold.
Japan's Miho Takagi and Canada's women's team pursuit were the other victors on the second day of action in Utah.
Stolz was the standout performer, kicking things off with victory in the 1500m, as he beat China's Ning Zhongyan, the overall World Cup leader by 0.70 seconds in a new American record of 1:40.87, following his world record in the 1000m on Friday.
Wesly Dijs of Netherlands took bronze, with Ning's lead in the 1500m down to ten points with one race remaining.
Stolz followed that up by taking the win in the 500m, his time of 33.96 enough to beat Canada's Laurent Dubreuil by 0.09 seconds with Yuma Murakami of Japan in third. After finishing 10th, Wataru Morishige of Japan saw his lead in the 500m standings cut but he remains 37 points clear of Dubreuil with two races to go.
American fans were treated to more success in the men's team pursuit as the trio of Ethan Cepuran, Emery Lehman and Casey Dawson beat Norway, and broke the world record that the Norwegians set three weeks ago, on their way to gold.
Their time of 3:33.66 took 0.56 off the previous mark and was enough for victory by more than a second and a half, with Italy taking bronze. The win also wrapped up the team pursuit World Cup trophy for the Americans.
On the women's side, Jackson continued her dominance in the 500m with a fourth win in eight World Cup races. She was the only person to skate sub-37 seconds, finishing in 36.90 ahead of compatriot Kimi Goetz, with Kim Min-sun taking bronze for Korea.
Takagi beat a pair of Dutch skaters in the 1500m, with Antoinette Rijpma-De Jong and Joy Beune joining her on the podium. Takagi has won every 1500m World Cup event this season.
In the women's team pursuit, the Canadian trio of Isabelle Weidemann, Ivanie Blondin and Valerie Maltais took gold from Japan, with the USA completing the podium. It was not quite enough to take the World Cup trophy, with the Japanese finishing top of the pile having won the first two events.
