GAME, SET AND MATCH! – DJOKOVIC 5-7 7-6 6-7 SINNER
What a performance! Sinner secures a very first win over Nole, hammering down a smash to take the deciding breaker by a 7-2 scoreline and come up trumps following a world-class showdown that crept into the fourth hour.
In terms of qualification, it’s still not decided tonight. The Green Group remains up for grabs but Sinner is well placed now to make the last four, particularly with this Italian crowd behind him.

He then moves 3-0 up with an insurance break via a sublime forehand pass.
Another blistering forehand sees Djoker lob wide and big serve puts the Italian crowd in dreamland.
Nole belatedly gets on the board with a smash but it's a long way back at the change of ends, even for him.

Djokovic fails to make it count with a donation of a backhand wide and Sinner takes full advantage with a humongous forehand up the line.
The Serb then returns long but doesn’t hear it as the roar from the crowd drowns out the call. He challenges but loses out and takes his seat to boos. He has a chuckle and even pretends to orchestrate the crowds anti-Djoker message!

BREAK! – DJOKOVIC 5-7 7-6 3-4 SINNER
It’s never easy to consolidate against Djokovic – and so it proves here.
The Serb counters Jannik’s power with incredible depth to force an error on the baseline for 15-30 but the Italian responds with a quite wonderful drop shot.
A forehand into the tramlines coughs up a breakpoint but a stonking forehand up the line drags him to deuce.
Djokovic senses his moment, however, and locks-in for some lung-bursting rallies, luring a backhand long and one into the net to break for the very first time in the match.
