GAME, SET AND MATCH! - MURRAY 6-3 6-4 DJOKOVIC. Andy Murray is the year-end No1 and ATP World Tour finals champion for the first time! The GB star produces a quite stunning display on the back of a week of lung-busting tennis to defeat reigning champion Novak Djokovic in straight sets. He does it the hard way serving it out with Nole saving two MPs before he fires a return long.
-
THIRD MATCH POINT. Great rally but Djoker drags wide down Murray's forehand flank.
-
SECOND MATCH POINT! .... BUt Nole saves it with a brutal crosscourt forehand.
-
UPDATE: Djoker saves it, attacking the second serve and putting away the resulting overhead. DEUCE.
-
MATCH POINT MURRAY! Djoker lobs long. 40-30 Murray.
-
MURRAY 6-3 5-4 DJOKOVIC. Djoker poses the serve out question to Muzza as he holds to 15. He doesn't look ready to loosen his grip on this crown just yet. Can Murray summon the energy for one last push?
-
MURRAY 6-3 5-3 DJOKOVIC. A visibly tiring Murray picks up what could be a major game for him. He thumps down a big first serve at 15-15 and then outlasts Djoker in a rally, with the Serb dragging just wide. Another long backhand hands the game to Muzza and he's one away from the title and the year-end No.1 spot.

MURRAY 6-3 4-3 DJOKOVIC. Comeback on? Djokovic is starting to hit the lines and Murray looks to be understandably puffing his cheeks a bit. It's a classy love hold and he's cranking up the heat.

BREAK! - MURRAY 6-3 4-2 DJOKOVIC. Novak isn't done just yet! Murray could see the finish line, but suffers his first real lull on serve. Djoker takes advantage to snare his first BP of the match. A nervy rally ensues before the Scot fires long under pressure. He's still a break to the good, but that'll do wonders for the No.2 seed's confidence.

BREAK! - MURRAY 6-3 4-1 DJOKOVIC. Outrageous. Murray tees up triple break point with a crosscourt backhand winner on the run. Nole saves one but then fires long of the baseline. DOUBLE BREAK for Muzza. He's closing in!

MURRAY 6-3 3-1 DJOKOVIC. At 30-15 Djokovic dictates a superb point but then flaps a woeful volley into the net. It sums up his night. Can a 12-time Slam champion have stage fright? He looks unnerved as Murray cracks down an ace to maintain his lead.

MURRAY 6-3 2-1 DJOKOVIC. Nole gets on the board with a much-needed hold to 15. It ends a run of five straight games for Murray and keeps the No.2 seed in the fight. Djoker should be the fresher player, so the longer he keeps this going the more chance he has of seeing Murray's level dip.

MURRAY 6-3 2-0 DJOKOVIC. Fabulous serving from Murray as he easily consolidates to 15. Which player has spent almost three and a half hours on court more than the other? Hard to believe it's the Scot.

BREAK! - MURRAY 6-3 1-0 DJOKOVIC. This is top drawer from Andy Murray. He's riding the crest of a wave and really dictating the proceedings. A sensational crosscourt forehand winner plays its part on his way to three BPs. Djoker saves them but can't deny the Scot on a fourth and Muzza is well on course in this heavyweight battle. He's a set and a break to the good. Novak is making lots of errors and is struggling to fend off the ferocity of Murray's attack.
