Wonderful reception for Muzza.

Murray has never beaten Nole after losing the first set. GB's big hope needs to take the opener tonight, especially after his energy-sapping clash with Raonic yesterday.

2016 SHOWDOWNS: Djokovic has beaten Murray in the finals of the Australian Open, Madrid Open and at Roland Garros this year. The 12-time Grand Slam champion clearly has the edge when they lock horns, but Murray can look back to a triumph in Rome and the fact his form over the past six months has seen him leapfrog his great rival into top spot in the rankings. That should give him sone confidence coming into this fascinating contest.

Murray has set a new tournament record for the duration of matches TWICE this week. The Scot has done it the hard way, but it could be costly at the final hurdle. He's clocked up nine hours and 54 minutes on court so far. In contrast, Djokovic has played six hours and 31 minutes. The Serb also had a much shorter work out against Nishikori in the semi final while Murray went through the wringer against Raonic. Expect the Serb to be much fresher.

DJOKOVIC: "We've known each other for so many years. This is maybe one of the biggest matches we will ever play, so let's enjoy it."

HEAD-TO-HEAD: This is the 35th meeting between two tennis greats. Djokovic has the psychological edge with a far superior 24-10 record. The Serb has won 13 of the last 15 meetings between the pair, including the most recent in this year's French Open final. The Serbinator dropped the first set but comfortably ran out 3-6 6-1 6-2 6-4 to lift his first Roland Garros title.
