Good morning, everyone, and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the second of the men's Australian Open semi-finals - Dominic Thiem versus Alexander Zverev.

THIEM 0-1 ZVEREV: A 17-shot rally for the third point of the match, and Thiem saves two break points before dropping the third. There's also a minor interruption with the invasion of a couple of feathers again.

And here they are at the net just after the coin toss.

Zverev won the toss and chose to receive.

Big cheer for both as they take to the court.

The players are heading out down the corridor of champions.

Wilander says Thiem has the edge, Becker says on a good day Zverev is a more dangerous player but thinks Thiem is the favourite today.

"There's a part to being a great individual athlete that has to be selfish, but that can be done with class," says Mats Wilander. He points to Rafael Nadal as someone who is humble off the court but mean on it.

"He's actually a very nice guy. He's got empathy, he's got sensitivity, for a German he's got a pretty good sense of humour," says Boris Becker about Zverev.
