Congratulations to Djokovic. His winning streak extends to 24 matches, and commiserations to Rafa, who played his part in an unbelievable match. 3 hours, 21 minutes of the finest entertainment.

What a match. For my money that surpasses the epic Wimbledon final between Nadal and Federer in terms of quality. Both players played out of their skin, producing tennis of a consistently incredible standard.

DJOKOVIC 7-4 TIE-BREAK - THERE IT IS!!!! DJOKOVIC STEPS IN TO PUT AWAY A HUGE FOREHAND WINNER AND WIN THE MIAMI MASTERS!!!

DJOKOVIC 6-4 TIE-BREAK - Nadal then goes on the attack to save the second, clinching the point with a calm forehand volley into the open court.

DJOKOVIC 6-3 TIE-BREAK - Nadal saves the first one as Djokovic goes long with a return.

DJOKOVIC 6-2 TIE-BREAK - Four championship points for Nole as he nails a forehand up the line for yet another outstanding winner!

DJOKOVIC 5-2 TIE-BREAK - Nadal fires a return wide, and Djokovic is now two points from the title, and an epic win!

DJOKOVIC 4-2 TIE-BREAK - A backhand up the line is too far into the corner for Nadal, and Djokovic leads 4-2 at the chagne of ends.

DJOKOVIC 3-2 TIE-BREAK - It's one way then the other here. Now Djokovic edges himself in front.

DJOKOVIC 2-2 TIE-BREAK - Huge, huge hitting from Djokovic, who goes for broke with every single shot and comes up trumps!

DJOKOVIC 1-2 TIE-BREAK - Every point has gone against the serve so far. Another sizzling backhand crosscourt from Nadal moves him to 2-1.

DJOKOVIC 1-1 TIE-BREAK - A fierce crosscourt backhand from Nadal makes it 1-1 as Djokovic can only net his reply.

DJOKOVIC 1-0 TIE-BREAK - Nadal goes long with an inside-out forehand, and the review confirms the call was indeed correct.

DJOKOVIC 6-6 - Big winner off the first point from Djokovic, though he follows that up with a high backhand into the net. Then a huge backhand crosscourt from Nadal brings up 15-30! Djokovic comes roaring back though, and reams off three successive points to tke us into a final set tie-break!

DJOKOVIC 5-6 - Nadal slams down his fifth ace of the match out wide and races to 40-0. The next serve triggers an error from Djokovic on the return and Nadal secures a priceless hold to love.

DJOKOVIC 5-5 - Magnificent inside-out forehand from Rafa! 15-15, though Djokovic then steps in to put away a forehand volley and move to 30-15, then again to puts away a more difficult backhand volley and earn himself two gamepoints. He only needs one though, as he puts away a fine stop-volley to hold and bring the score to 5-5.

DJOKOVIC 4-5 - Nadal takes the initiative at 15-15 to step inside and bludgeon away a forehand winner to move to 30-15. A point apiece brings up gamepoint to Nadal, which he takes as Djokovic slams a forehand up the line into the top of the net! Djokovic will now come out serving to stay in the match!

DJOKOVIC 4-4 - Nadal show tremendous speed to race in and send a winning reply back to Djokovic's drop volley in the first point of the game, though Djokovic once again fights back and puts away a punched backhand volley to move to 40-15...before another stunning forehand up the line clinches the game and moves him to 4-4! The quality of tennis on show is just about as good as I have ever seen.

DJOKOVIC 3-4 - Nadal's hitting has markedly improved in this set. From 30-15 He slams down two powerful first serves that are too hot for Djokovic to deal with and moves 4-3 up.
