Hello and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE coverage of the night session at the US Open. We'll be focussing on the match between Marin Cilic and Alex de Minaur. The two players are just walking out.

CILIC HAS DONE IT! The Croatian has come back from two sets down to win 4-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-5! But this match was largely about De Minaur. A star has been born. The young Australian is the story here. He'll be disappointed not to have closed this out, but what a performance. What a talent. He'll be back.

*CILIC 6-5 DE MINAUR (4-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4): The pressure shifts back on to the young Australian as Cilic does a good job of holding serve rather comfortably. Are we destined for a tie break?

CILIC 5-5 DE MINAUR* (4-6, 3-6, -3, 6-4): This could be something really special if De Minaur pulls this off. He has leveled up the deciding set.

*CILIC 5-4 DE MINAUR (4-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4): SENSATIONAL! De Minaur saves a sixth match point and then breaks Cilic himself. We are back in serve in this final set!

CILIC 5-3 DE MINAUR* (6-4, 6-3, 3-6, 4-6): This is just silly now. De Minaur saves FIVE match points. Two of those saves were sensational defence and now he has one more shot at Cilic!

*CILIC 5-2 DE MINAUR (4-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4): All of a sudden Cilic is just one game away from pulling off the comeback from two sets down. His serving in the past few games has been too strong for De Minaur.

CILIC 4-2 DE MINAUR* (4-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4): And that could be the crucial breakthrough for Cilic! He brought up 0-40, lost two break points, but then took the final one.

*CILIC 3-2 DE MINAUR (4-6, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3): Cilic saves a couple break points and then serves it out with some big deliveries. De Minaur gets a violation for racquet abuse after spurning one of the BPs.

CILIC 2-2 DE MINAUR* (4-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4): An immediate response from Cilic! That was a bit of a sloppy game from De Minaur, with four errors including a double fault.

*CILIC 1-2 DE MINAUR (4-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4): The early break in the fifth and final set goes the way of De Minaur! A couple loose points from Cilic allowed him, sending a slak forehand beyond the baseline on break point.

CILIC 1-1 DE MINAUR* (4-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4): And now it's Du Minaur's turn to serve out to love. This is a war of wills between these two men.

*CILIC 1-0 DE MINAUR (4-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4): The momentum is undoubtedly with Cilic now. The Croatian holds to love, seeing out the service game with an ace down the T.

WE'RE GOING TO A FIFTH SET! Cilic wins the fourth set 6-4. The Croatian has fought back on to level terms and now it's a one set shootout. De Minaur made some poor decisions in that final game.

*CILIC 5-4 DE MINAUR (4-6, 3-6, 6-3): That was a chance for the young Australian. His attempted passing shot brought up 30-30, but Cilic saw it through. Still on serve.

CILIC 4-4 DE MINAUR* (4-6, 3-6, 6-3): Can you believe that? Cilic had FIVE break points there, but De Munaur saved them all with some really gutsy play. That game had everything.

*CILIC 4-3 DE MINAUR (4-6, 3-6, 6-3): De Minaur pumped himself up at 30-30 after Cilic put one in the net. But Cilic then has the Australian on the run. He's starting to blow had after each point.

CILIC 3-3 DE MINAUR* (4-6, 3-6, 6-3): De Minaur is trying to up the pace of his play here. Is that to try and catch Cilic cold or is it because he's starting to feel some fatigue?

*CILIC 3-2 DE MINAUR (4-6, 3-6, 6-3): Cilic holds serve once again before the change of ends. De Minaur won the first point, but some big serving, a couple winners and an overhead see Cilic close out.
