FEDERER (1)6-7 4-4 DJOKOVIC. At 40-0 Djokovic enjoys some gasps of amazement from the crowd as he gets to a wide Fed serve with a sweet return winner down the line. It's a great shot but is shrugged aside by the Swiss Maestro who powers down an ace to move level.

Rain clouds gathering close to Centre Court. Won't be long now until we need to call upon the roof.
-
FEDERER (1)6-7 3-4 DJOKOVIC. A swift and accomplished game from Djoker as he cruises to a hold to 15. Roger has wasted some big chances in both sets - will he be made to pay as we enter the business-end of the second?
-
FEDERER (1)6-7 3-3 DJOKOVIC. Federer staying relatively strong on serve. The Swiss crunches a dismissive forehand away at the net before a big delivery on a first serve sees him through the hold to 30.

FEDERER (1)6-7 2-3 DJOKOVIC. Novak lets out a cry of anguish as he miscues long of the baseline to allow Federer a platform to attack at deuce. The Swiss snares a break point but can't force it through as a crosscourt worldy from Djoker clips the line. The Serb slips to offer up another break opportunity but the Serbinator comes good once more with a thunderous forehand. A blockbusting rally rather aptly concludes the game with Djoker sizzling another winner down the line to leave Federer ruing his inability to make it count on the big points.

FEDERER (1)6-7 2-2 DJOKOVIC. The Swiss overcomes a mid-game wobble to stay on serve. A 40-0 lead suddenly looks under threat as Nole hits back to within one of deuce. But that trusty serve comes through for Roger when he needs it most as Djoker can only block a sizzling delivery down the middle T long of the baseline.

FEDERER (1)6-7 1-2 DJOKOVIC. The serves are on song so far in the second as Novak takes the game for the loss of one point. It's been very tight out there - TB aside. Federer had some big chances in that opening set but Djoker's defences are so strong and the Serb is always so dangerous in the moments after some suffering.
-
FEDERER (1)6-7 1-1 DJOKOVIC. Accomplished stuff from Fed-Ex. A sweet serve and volley seals a simple enough love hold that shows Nole he has already shrugged off that TB disappointment.
-
FEDERER (1)6-7 0-1 DJOKOVIC. With confidence oozing out of him, Djoker surges to a love hold to lay down the gauntlet at the start of the second. Federer has to re-focus right away here.

SET! - FEDERER (1)6-7 DJOKOVIC. That's why he's the world no.1. Djokovic was pushed to the limit early in the opener but hit back from a break down at 4-2 to level before saving set points in his final service game to force the TB that he completely owned. The Serbinator never looks back as he takes it 7-1. A Federer double fault clinches it as the Serb's mental strength pulls him through.

Djoker three up in the TB. Last year Fed-Ex won the opening set TB.

TIE BREAK! - FEDERER 6-6 DJOKOVIC. A big hold for Nole. Roger decides to go for the winners with a TB at the very least in the bag and ALMOST comes up trumps. The Swiss twinkles the forehand wand but can't make the line with a crosscourt attempt at 0-15. Djoker then follows an ace with a double fault before a shot down the line from the Serb collapses into the net. The world no.1 saves set point with a thumping first serve and then does it again seconds later before wriggling out of a precarious situation to force the TB.
-
FEDERER 6-5 DJOKOVIC. Some great 'slow-mo' replays of Fed gliding into the net to volley as he cruises into a 40-0 lead. Djokovic keeps digging in his heels though and claws two points back before a smart, sliced drop shot has Nole scampering to no avail.

FEDERER 5-5 DJOKOVIC. Federer wins a brilliant rally with a rasping forehand drive-volley but ultimately it's just a mere blip on the Djoker copybook as he holds rather easily to 15.
-
Quite apt that such a dramatic affair is being witnessed by so many A-listers on Centre Court this afternoon...
-
FEDERER 5-4 DJOKOVIC. Just what the Swiss needed. The Djokovic charge is halted in style as the Swiss rediscovers his serving rhythm to take the game to love and leave the Serb to mull over serving to stay in the set at the changeover.

FEDERER 4-4 DJOKOVIC. All square in the opening set as Djokovic hammers an ace down the middle T to hold for the loss of one point. Has the momentum shifted ever so slightly?
