DJOKOVIC 2-0 ANDERSON. Novak routinely consolidates for the loss of just the one point.
And Benedict Cumberbatch too.

BREAK! - DJOKOVIC 1-0 ANDERSON. Oh dear. Ando would have been hoping to get his maiden Wimbledon final off to a solid start - but this is the nightmare he wanted to avoid.
A lovely volley puts him 30-15 to the good, but two unforced errors off either flank gift Nole a break point. The Serb has one of the best returns the game has ever seen, but doesn't have to swing his racket as Big Kev double faults to cough up an instant break.

On the other side of the net, a rejuvenated Nole Djokovic is chasing his fourth Wimbledon crown and a 13th Grand Slam title. The Serb struggled with desire and fitness after completing the career Grand Slam by lifting the 2016 French Open title, but seems to be back to his best now. The former world number one edged out Rafa Nadal in a semi-final classic, but believes there is little to choose between himself and Anderson. He said: "Considering he's playing only his second Grand Slam final, obviously he has a lot more to gain. If I take my last couple years, I don't have much to lose myself."

Anderson: "Obviously I'd like to have been done a little bit earlier in terms of my recovery, playing against one of the greatest players of all time. But when you're planning, you're scheduling, you're second on after 1pm, you don't think you're getting on at 8pm. It's tough on them too."

Anderson is into his second Grand Slam final after losing to Nadal at the 2017 US Open. The eighth seed took an epic six hours and 36 minutes to overcome American ninth seed John Isner in a marathon five-set clash, which is the second longest Grand Slam match of all-time.

HEAD-TO-HEAD: This is their seventh meeting with Nole owning the match-up 5-1. They last locked horns at Wimbledon in 2015 when Djokovic hit back from two sets down to triumph 6-7 6-7 6-1 6-4 7-5.
They also met at SW19 in 2011 when Djoker won in straight sets.
