Mauresmo's fourth title of the year, secured in little over an hour, follows on from silverware in Berlin, Rome and Montreal.
Bovina, seeded ninth at the Austrian event, had edged a desperately tight semi-final against compatriot Nadia Petrova 6-3 4-6 7-6 on Saturday and looked to have nothing left for the final.

The 25-year-old is scheduled to play in Philadelphia, next week, as the tournament's top seed.
Mauresmo will be competing in the season-ending WTA Championships in Los Angeles that begin Nov. 8, which you can follow on Eurosport TV and eurosport.com/co.uk.
