Good evening and welcome to the biggie - Chelsea host Manchester United in an all-English Champions League quarter-final, the first leg kicking off at Stamford Bridge at 7.45pm UK time.

Free-kick to Chelsea on the right... Drogba fools everyone with a low ball in for Ramires but hacked away as he prepares to shoot.

Evra inside to Park, now Giggs, now Evra again, Park to Rooney but cleared by Chelsea. Nani has a pop from a long way out but it's a daisy cutter and easy for Cech.

Rafael is stretchered off. Valencia tucks into right back and Nani comes on for the right wing. Four United wingers on the pitch now, including Giggs and Park.

Rafael has gone down again, looks like his night is over.

Evra slips and keeps the ball in for Droba, who lofts in a great cross AND RAMIRES but the header is angled incorrectly and flies well wide!

Zhirkov slides a ball wide to Cole but his cross is poor. Rafael limps back into the fold.

Not sure what's wrong with Rafael, possibly a dead leg, but he's up and on the touchline.

Bizarrely Drogba is lectured fby the ref for that clash with Rafael when the Brazilian was a touch late, leaving himself there to block Drogba who obviously took him out, being twice his size.

Drogba and Rafael collide, Zhirkov comes away with it, he plays in a low ball that Evra almost shanks into the path of Ramires but the Frenchman clears.

Giggs lifts a ball out to Valencia, who slides a pass along for Hernandez but the ball has too much pace for the Mexican and it's out for a Chelsea throw.

The second half is underway.

Rafael and Drogba tangle but the ref blows for half time before it gets moody. Half-time and United lead, but Chelsea get back in it late in the half!

Lampard drills a loose ball in but blocked by Evra I think! Panic in the United box as Chelsea suddenly find their mojo!

Drogba on the left, super turn and cross AND TORRES FOR HIS FIRST GOAL BUT NO! OFF THE POST! LAMPARD MUST SCORE BUT NO! Evra blocks on the line!

Hernandez lays it off to Rooney who angles a crisp drive on goal but Cech is well placed to claim. United have played the better football.

Rooney wide to Valencia, back to Carrick but blocked. Rooney tries to shoot, now Evra on the left but the cross is cleared. Giggs plays it in but Lampard clears - only for Chelsea to give it away.

Valencia finds Park on the right but his low pass is poor, straight to Ivanovic.

Good flat delivery from Drogba but Ivanovic can't head it on. United break, Rooney released on the left but his shot is blocked. Rooney gets it back and he crosses for HERNANDEZ WITH THE HEADER but it bounces a foot wide!!

Giggs bodychecks Ivanovic and Chelsea have a free-kick on the right.

Lampard is almost played in but the pass is rolled beyond him and Vidic lets it run to Van der Sar.

Essien gets outside Rooney on the Chelsea left but Ferdinand is there to head the cross away.
