And that's that. Bayern qualify and equal Barcelona's record for nine successive Champions League wins. The final score is 1-0. It could have been more, but the Germans seemed happy with their lot.

The home fans are up on their feet and applauding their side even in apparent defeat. Such a better performance from the Czechs, who have never made things easy for Bayern.

Shot from Lahm is pushed away by Kozacik, and we will have three minutes of stoppage time.

Horvath shoots, but the captain's shot was never really troubling goal, forcing the midfielder to curse himself with gusto.

Bakos immediately goes down after a penalty, but nothing doing.

Plzen also make a change, Bakos on the field for Tecl.

Mitchell Weiser makes his first Bayern appearance for a year, replacing Mario Gotze.

Lahm crosses but the ball is cleared. The defensive midfielder has been excellent once again tonight, so busy both with and without the ball.

Horvath goes down cheaply but wins a free kick in Bayern's half. Rajoral gets his foot to the cross, but Rafinha calmly plays it back to Neuer.

Duris comes off for Pospisil. Good night's work from Duris, hard-working down the left hand side when he would have preferred to be up front.

Gotze should score after rounding the goalkeeper, but the ball gets rather stuck under his feet and defenders get back to clear. Poor night for the German, given a chance in the absence of Robben.

Bayern have just got a little sloppy here. Happy with 1-0 clearly, but certainly not as potent as in recent weeks.

Kozacik almost gets caught on the ball, but the goalkeeper manages to clear.

Mandzukic heads wide. Half chance, but had to generate his own power on the ball.

Petrzela crosses the ball low across goal, and Tecl somehow fails to get a touch on the ball when that was all he needed to score.

As I say that, tecl has a shot which stings the palms of Neuer.

Plzen now seem to have resorted to a more direct approach in a bid to try and scuplt out a chance, any chance, to get their equaliser.

It would be fair to say that Bayern seem perfectly happy with a 1-0 victory here.

Bayern defence gets momentarily stretched on the break, but Van Buyten again there to quash any danger.
