First booking, and it's for Hubnik. Holds back Gotze as the forward looked to get away.

Muller would have had a tap in there, fine goalkeeping. The Slovakian hasn't had any wonderful saves to make, but everything he has been asked to do has been done with impressive efficiency.

Driven in at some pace by Alaba, and it is a fine intervention from Kosacik to claim with players waiting.

Poor challenge from Prochazka on Ribery near the touchline. Lucky not to be booked.

Another free kick 25 yards out for Bayern, but this time slightly out wide to the left. Kroos takes, but too low and headed clear.

Ribery sends Lahm through on goal, but the ball is slightly overhit and Kozacik comes charging out to claim.

They don't but it is easily cleared once more.

Another corner for the home side. Don't take this one short, would be my advice.

After Kroos airkicks it on the edge of the box, Schweinsteiger crosses, but again straight at the keeper. Story of the half so far.

Kroos shoots from possibly 30 yards out, but it's wild. We get the first sight of Guardiola on the bench, looking pensive (and cold!)

One impressive thing from the Czechs has been their pressing of the Bayern man on the ball. Really working hard in midfield.

Neat interplay from Muller and Ribery leads to Schweinsteiger taking a shot. Straight at Kozacik, however.

Alaba demonstrates his electric pace down the left, and his cross is scrambled clear. Good open game this.

Hubnik crosses with his left foot, but shanks it. The ball actually goes close to the far post and Neuer is forced to scamper.

Petrzela takes a strike from range, but it is never troubling Neuer, who watches it fly over.

So the first real let-off for Plzen. They'll need plenty more luck besides.

Plzen couner attack and win a corner. They take it short, which seems a huge waste.

Mario Gotze lays it back to Schweinsteiger, who wraps his foot around the ball and strikes it against the left hand post. Goalkeeper was beaten.

It's now one-way traffic as Bayern look to find the opening goal.

Fine strike from David Alaba that Kozicik can only parry away before the ball is headed behind for a corner.

Rafinha puts in a dangerous ball that Marian Cizovsky does well to volley clear.
