This is over, right? O-V-E-R, OVER. 4-1 to Barca, Barca have Messi, do me a favour. Except sometimes it looks like that's all they've got. In the first leg they were slow, predictable, suspect at the back, and needed two own goals to set them away, while Roma now know they can compete and with the backing of a wild home crowd, if they can score first, might just fancy themselves. It's over, but it's not OVER.

Barca are ragged! Nainggolan breaks through midfield and shoots into Shick's heels ... he does a pretty good job of controlling to deliver into stride, but can't quite finish on the slide and stretch. If Roma can score again before half-time, they'll do this.

Anyway, Federico Fazio ... what on earth is going there? He's good!

In his defence, Shick has started well, running the line and putting himself about. But, well, ye've gottae score...

HUGE CHANCE! A long ball into Dzeko is well controlled and well spread, and Fazio, somehow on the right win, picks a cross to the front post! Shick is there! But he glances wide! Oh, woe!

Roma are keeping a high line, so Alisson have to be lively - which he is, racing out to clear before Messi can reach a ball played into the space.

Forward come Roma again, De Rossi turning a ball into the channel for Dzeko, who then turns back for Kolarov, on the burst into the box from the left. A fine challenge from Pique stops him getting a shot away, and the resultant corner comes to nothing.

Barca have had a better last couple of minutes, keeping the ball at the back. Messi comes back into his own half to remember what a touch of it feels like, eventually Jesus wins an important tackle, and Strootman allows his pass to run across him, foxing Rakitic and Busquets. That's very nicely done.

Exactly what NO ONE wants to see.

Football!

Nice from Roma, Shick pulling right and accepting possession from Strootman. His cross doesn't find Dzeko, but the pressure is maintained - Barca are being forced to defend pretty much non-stop here.

Official Twitter accounts love first-name terms.

And there's a reason why; Fazio fouls Iniesta on halfway, before the chance to create something becomes a creation of something.

Peter Drury notes that Roma have four clean sheets from four Champions League home games. And they've played Chelsea and Atletico too, as well as Shakhtar, nobody's mugs. If they can manage it tonight, they'll go very close.

Pique lofts an aimless one forward; that's still so weird to type. But without the greatest midfield of all-time, they're a team just like any other. And Shick robs Iniesta on halfway! It looks like it's two on two, but he can't quite find the right angle at which to run, so the opportunity vanishes, but Roma are right into this.

Fazio wins a corner and Kolarov curls well to front post. Ter Stegen flies out for no reason, and Shick, there well before him due to being where the ball is, can't quite get over and around it, heading over the top.

A quiet period, during which we can reflect on what a player Edin Dzeko is. I know he wanted to play, but City should have done everything possible to keep him - when he's hot he's steaming, and off the bench he's the perfect option.

No more scoring in this half would be fine for Roma; no more scoring till 60 minutes would be fine for Roma, because then Barca would drop and the nerves would kick in.

Messi curls over the wall but can't find the dip, and the shot sails over the bar.

Messi runs at Jesus, diddles him, and accepts the foul. Free-kick, 20 yards out, just right of centre ... perfect for yerman, basically.
