This is over, right? O-V-E-R, OVER. 4-1 to Barca, Barca have Messi, do me a favour. Except sometimes it looks like that's all they've got. In the first leg they were slow, predictable, suspect at the back, and needed two own goals to set them away, while Roma now know they can compete and with the backing of a wild home crowd, if they can score first, might just fancy themselves. It's over, but it's not OVER.

GOAL! Roma 1-0 Barcelona (Dzeko) agg 2-4 Now then! Strootman clips a decent ball over the top - it's straight, but Dzeko steals a march on Jordi Alba with a lovely take which also brings him across Umtiti who can't catch up! With Ter Stegen stranded, he pokes home the opener and we have ourselves a ball-game!

Nice from Barca, Iniesta finding Suarez on halfway, left side. But he's not got his old pace, has to check, and then finds Messi who's crowded out.

Semedo levers Dzeko out of one, inside the box. That's not far off being a penalty, but at the same time not quite a penalty.

Barca have started well here, and Messi feeds Sergi Roberto, who has a clear sight of goal, though from the wide. He connects well enough with his shot, but it's at the near post and a nice height so Alisson beats away easily enough.

At the Etihad, Gabriel Jesus has scored for City.

Iniesta advances and is allowed to shoot - the effort is blocked maybe two yards in front of him by Manolas.

Barcelona are in that cyan kit, shirts, shorts, socks. They look really, really silly.

We're away!

Oh dear. Roma get their team photo totally wrong, six at the back, four at the front. They're doomed.

The Olimpico is up there, or down there, with the crappest grounds in world football. Round, shallow, and with a track. But it's jumping tonight...

Out come the teams!

The problem for Roma is the deficit is one goal too big. If they needed a two-niller, they could take their time. A three-niller - against a team with Messi in it - means that they need to get at least one in the first half, without leaving themselves open. That said, it's really only Messi they'll fear. Suarez looks like he's eaten himself and is playing out of his arse, Iniesta is still a genius but still done, and Rakitic is unreliable. I'm talking myself into this.

Love this.

I guess I should explain that: at the end of every commercial break ESPN have Juan Mata telling us about himself and his old fella. It is unbearable.
19:27
If I never hear about Juan Mata's dad again, I really won't mind.

Owen Hargreaves is very old for someone who still has long hair. I've just checked and he's two years younger than me, but it didn't do Robb Stark any good.

Behold.
