That was just a bit wild! The ball fell to Jordan about 25 yards out after a botched clearance by the Barcelona defence, but he gets it all wrong and lashes his effort high and wide.

Asensio is certainly showing plenty of invention and creativity in the final third. He's the one pressing and probing, this time attempting to chip a pass through to Sevilla on the run.

BARCELONA'S FIRST CHANCE OF THE MATCH! The corner kick delivery falls to Messi on the edge of the box, but Bardi in the Espanyol goal does well to get behind it to make the save.

Caicedo also played well a fortnight ago, scoring Espanyol's only goal of the game. The striker was very effective in giving the Spanish and European champions something to think about on the break.

It's also worth noting that Barcelona also have Luis Suarez banned for two matches as a result of a scuffle in the tunnel with some Espanyol players. Barca are contesting that, though.

Both matches between these two clubs in the last few weeks were ill-tempered affairs. In fact, Espanyol have two players suspended from the first leg as a result of that temperament.

Barcelona were impressive in the first leg at the Camp Nou, but it's not so long since Espanyol held their rivals to a goalless draw in the league at the Cornella. Encouragement for them.

These two teams are playing for a place in the last eight of this season's Copa Del Rey, with Barcelona almost there after the 2-0 win over their city rivals in the first leg two weeks ago.
