Hello and welcome to Eurosport's live commentary from the Euro 2016 Group H Qualifier between Italy and Bulgaria. This is Nick Royle (@nickaroyle) taking you through all the action from the Stadio Renzo Barbera in Palermo.

It ends Italy 1-0 Bulgaria in Palermo, thanks to Daniele De Rossi's sixth-minute penalty. Italy are now top of Group H, two points ahead of second-placed Norway, who beat Croatia 2-0 in Oslo earlier on Sunday, and four points ahead ahead of Niko Kovac's side in third.

The TV cameras have just shown Andrea Pirlo on the bench - how the match needed him tonight.

Bulgaria give the ball away chasing an equaliser, but Eder is unable to capitalise following Boduruv's mistake.

Four minutes of additional time here in Palermo. But this looks set to be back-to-back 1-0 wins for the Azzurri.

Eder cuts back into the area from the left but Bandalovski stretches to make the block.

Eder almost immediately wins a free-kick on the left when he draws a foul from Bandalovski.

Conte makes his third substitution as Eder replaces Candreva.

Bulgaria captain Dyakov gets a harsh yellow card after an Italy player seems to run into him. He is furious - he will miss the match against Azerbaijan as well.

Candreva runs at the Bulgaria defence but Florenzi's cross into the area is overhit and sails out beyond Mitrev's goalline.

Zaza is caught offside - Italy's fourth offside of the match. Bulgaria haven't been offside once.

Sampdoria's Brazil-born striker Eder is going to come on - he scored Italy's equaliser against Bulgaria in the reverse fixture in March, remember.

Verratti makes another biting challenge in midfield - he has been impressive in a game that hasn't really taken off at the Stadio Renzo Barbera.

Apologies. Florenzi is the man on the pitch, but wearing the 11 usualy worn by Insigne. Rangelov just fouls the Roma man in midfield.

I'm trying to work out whether Insigne came on as well. Anyway, the number 11, who I assume is Insigne, makes a tackle in his own area to deny Milanov.

This seems to be petering out to a dull 1-0 win to Italy, which will secure at least third place in Group H for the Azzurri.

Rangelov runs at Chiellini and seems to be blocked by Bonucci 30 yards from goal but the referee rules no foul.

Verrartti waves a yellow card after being tripped by Boduruv in the centre circle.
