FULL-TIME: Scotland 2-3 Germany

The roar goes around Hampden Park... for a throw in. Scotland are desperate to cling to anything at the moment. Can the home side create anything in these last few moments against the world champions?

Two minutes of stoppage time to be played at the end of the second half.

They need to get Ritchie running at Hector down the right wing. He has the quality to create something. His trademark is pinging one from distance after cutting inside. Scotland could use one of those.

Can Scotland create one final opportunity to take something from this game? With Fletcher and Martin up front they surely just need to lump the ball forward to those two?

Germany sub: Mario Gotze OFF, Andre Schurrle ON.

That would have been a sensational goal. Gundogan and Gotze combine on the one-two to pick their way through the Scottish backline, but the latter fires his shot over the bar.

GREAT SAVE FROM MARSHALL! Gotze and Muller combine to lay off Gundogan for the shot on goal, but the Scotland keeper is right behind the effort and beats it away.

GREAT CHANCE FOR FLETCHER! But the flag is up for offside. Ritchie puts the cross into the box for the Sunderland striker, but before he can get his shot away the flag is raised.

Scotland had t wait a while to make those changes, they jut couldn't get the ball off Germany! In the end it's Brown who comes off, with Martin moving up top with Fletcher. Bold.

It looks like Strachan is indeed making a couple of changes. Chris Martin and Matt Ritchie are stripped and ready to come on for Scotland. Who'll be coming off? Forrest for one, certainly.

For the first time since he came on, Scotland play a ball into the channel down the left side for Anya to chase. But Boateng does well to keep with his player and pass back to Neuer.

And there's another foul from Morrison, this time on Kroos. Strachan must surely be considering taking him off. He's looking tired and is surely one foul away from a red card.

Anya has hardly had a touch of the ball since he has come on. Scotland need to find a way to get a ball into the channels for him to chase. He has the pace to beat Can down that left wing.

Scotland need to turn on the ball and try and get in behind the Germany backline. There are groans inside Hampden when Brown decides to play it all the way back to Marshall in goals.

Just as I say that Scotland have decided to take a breather and dictate the play around the halfway line. They just couldn't get the ball off Germany. They're simply too good.

Scotland are starting to press high on Germany. It's s risky strategy, given the way the world champions can pass around you, but it's what they have to do at this stage of the match.

Surely it's time for Strachan to make another change? Fletcher has offered very little in attack as the focal point of attack, so should Griffiths be given a chance to run at the German defence?
