The big change from Loew ahead of this game is that Gundogan has come into the starting lineup. The Borussia Dortmund midfielder was impressive as a sub against Poland and starts tonight as the number 10.

Scotland stand off Ozil! The Arsenal playmaker lines up the shot from 25 yards out, but he is eventually charged down by Martin. They were so slow in getting out to him, though.

Good play from Hutton. The right-back takes the opportunity to stretch his legs down the wing and wins the corner after taking on Hector. More of that from Scotland would be helpful.

It might actually be for the best that disabled fans at Hampden Park can't see the game, given who Scotland are playing against tonight. But seriously, that is pretty deplorable from the Scottish FA.

The Scotland team were actually late in making it to Hampden Park tonight, as they got stuck in traffic on the M8. Who would have thunk that there might be traffic in central Glasgow at teatime on a Monday?

Germany went top of Group D with victory over Poland on Friday. They've taken their time to get going in Euro 2016 qualification, but Joachim Loew's side now seem to be motoring.

This has become something of a must win game for Scotland following the dismal defeat to Georga on Friday. And it's not ideal when you have to win a game against the world champions.

Sir Alex Ferguson was among the dignatories greeting the players on the pitch ahead of kick-off. Let's hope that he's sitting next to Strachan, or at least close enough to whisper in his ear.

Flower of Scotland was performed by the Red Hot Chilli Pipers.., just when I thought that national anthem couldn't get any worse, it did. I think the drummer was actually playing a different song.

Gordon Strachan has made a few changes after the dismal defeat to Georgia last week. James Forrest comes into the team, James McArthur is also in and so is Grant Hanley. For Germany Ilkay Gundogan is selected in the starting XI.
