Good evening and welcomt to the LIVE commentary of the second leg of Stoke City's Europa League qualifier against Hajduk Split.

Whelan finds Walters down the left who feeds Pennant. The winger crosses but it's cleared to Whelan. The midfielder shoots from distance but the shot is hit straight at the keeper.

Huth beats Vukovic to the ball and clears before taking out the man. The crowd are booing but it was a fantastic challenge. So much so that the Stoke man won a throw-in too.

Walters wins a free kick for his team on the half way line after being barged into the back of by Brkljaca.

Pennant skips down the left and cuts back before trying to find Jones with a long ball. It was a poor pass but there was nothing else on as Stoke failed to commit any men forward.

whelan cuts out a Split pass before finding Jones who plays a ball around the corner to Walters. The striker attacks down the left but gives away a throw-in.

Etherington's corner is failed to be dealt with and flies straight through the penalty area. Split look to attack but Pennant is back to defend and concedes a throw-in.

Vukusic has a pop at goal from distance. Begovic watches it fly past his right-hand post.

Stoke get the second half under way.

The referee blows the whistle to end the first half. Stoke will be very happy that the home side have failed to create a real decent chance.

The hosts are applying a little more pressure in the closing minutes of this half. Stoke continue to mop up and loose balls in and around their penalty area.

Vukovic receives the ball on the right before cutting inside. The striker beats his man before shooting at goal. Begovic is equal to it.

Split are controlling play for the moment, albeit in their own half. They're passing the ball around their back-four but aren't really doing too much with it.

Andric loses possession to Pennant again and gives away a throw-in. The captain kicks the ball away. He's walking a tightrope here.

Horrendous corner from the hosts. It's met by a number of boos from the crowd. Andric plays it short to Vukovic who tries to give the ball back but it flies out for a throw-in.

Whelan feeds JOnes with a superb ball between the two defemders. Jones elects to shoot first time. It flies into the keepers arms from 18 yards The flag was up anyway, so it wouldn't have counted had it beat Subasic.

Split go long again. Maloca tries a cross-field pass towards Vukusic but the ball runs out of play for a Stoke goal kick.

Poor challenge from Andric. Very poor, indeed. The Split captain goes in late on Pennant with his stoods up. He's booked.

Woodgate now has to deal with a challenging long ball, and does do excellently. The injury-plagued defender nods the ball back to keeper under immense pressure.

Split elect to go long for a third consecutive time and lose possession. That will please Pulis and his Stoke team who can cope with long balls all day.

Etherington jinks his way down the left towards the edge of the penalty area. He dinks a ball towards Jones at the far post but Subasic is off his line quikcly to claim. Solid keeping.

Atherington bursts into the Split half but is being nipped at by Brkljaca. The referee takes an age to blow the whistle, but does so in the end.
