Good evening and welcomt to the LIVE commentary of the second leg of Stoke City's Europa League qualifier against Hajduk Split.

Atherington bursts into the Split half but is being nipped at by Brkljaca. The referee takes an age to blow the whistle, but does so in the end.

Split win a goal kick but the Stoke players are furious at the decision. Pennant bursts into the box before being tackled by Anas. It looks to be a corner.

What a waste. Huth gets on the end of the free-kick down the right and looks to cross. He miskicks the ball and it drifts out for a goal kick.

Walters is down still. He looks in some discomfort following the tackle and is hobbling off to the sideline. The crowd are booing but I'm certain he didn't ask for a needless foul against him...

Stupid. Milicevic clearly isn't going to get the ball off Walters and decides to foul him instead. He's booked for doing so.

Whitehead is back defending deep in his own half as Vukovic tries to beat him on the touchline. The Split man hits the deck but the referee isn't fooled.

Jones is involved yet again. The striker receives a long ball and takes it down well before trying to find Etherington on the wing. The pass is over-hit and Split win a throw-in.

Etherington does well down the left and wins a throw-in. Jones is on the end of it but is penalised for a foul on the keeper. Harsh.

Pennant flicks the ball away before his opponent gets there and is subsequently kicked into the air. The referee also waves that away. Whelan is back to win the ball though. Stoke attack.

Split put pressure on the Stoke throw and win a throw-in themselves. It's wasted though, as the thrower receives the ball back but is standing offside.

Lima goes long for Vukusic but Shawcross gets in front of the attacker ad ushers the ball out for a throw-in. Good defending.

Strange, this. Every single outfield player is having a druinks break on the touchline. Never seen that one before...

Etherington holds on to the ball too long this time. There are two men waiting for the cross but the winger attempts to beat another man. He's tackled and the attack breaks down.

Etherington skips past a challenge down the left and crosses for Jones. The big striker beats his defender to the ball but can't keep his header down.

Poor. Wilson looks to find Pennant on the right flank but the ball is hit far too hard and flies straight out of play for a goal kick.

Jones holds the ball up well on the right, allowing his team mates to get up field. Stoke keep possession as they look for an opening.

Split are on the attack but Trebotic loses possession before committing a needless fould.

Pennant beats his man down the right and looks to cross. The defender recovers well and gets a deflection on the cross - taking the sting out of it on it's way into the keeper's arms.

CHANCE!! Hajduk go close. Tomasov cuts in from the right and lashes an effort on goal from 25 yards. It flies just wide. I don't think Begovic would've got there had it been on target.

Jones is down. The striker is chasing a long ball and is clipped by Anas in the box. Again, the referee waves the Stoke player up. I'll use the old cliche 'I've seen them given...'

Stoke get right in behin the Split defence. Walters looks to beat the keeper, who makes an advance on the attacker before quickly going back, but elects to pass rather than shoot. It's the wrong option and Split clear.
