Superb ball in from Dawkins. The winger shapes up to pass it short but surprises everybody, swinging it in for Martin. Cahill just about gets in front of the striker and clears the danger.
13'
Keane and Eustace nearly play themselves into danger, stroking the ball around confidently before the latter slips and lets in Willian. Wisdom reads the danger and makes a superb challenge.
12'
Really positive start from Mourinho’s men, this. They look in the mood and have had Derby on the back foot from the opening minute. The Rams have coped with it well, though...
11'
Poor ball from Luiz. The Brazilian travels with the ball out of his own half and into Derby’s. There are a number of simple options either side, but instead he attempts a Hollywood ball into Eto’o’s path but puts too much on it.
10'
Wisdom goes into a 50/50 with Willian and leaves his opponent on the floor, winning a throw-in at the same time. The Derby fans respond well to the youngster’s commitment.
9'
The surface is quite slippy out there – a number of players have lost their footing already. Eustace is the latest man to do so and nearly puts his side in danger.
8'
Essien bursts through the middle and sends Eto’o through on goal. Grant is off his line in a flash and looks to be fouled by the Chelsea striker, but the referee awards a corner.
7'
Oscar shows some silky footwork on the edge of the Derby penalty area and attempts to play in Eto’o, but the pass has too much on it and runs out of play.
6'
Derby finally break out of their half and do so with purpose. Ward attacks Cole down the right flank, skipping past the Chelsea man and crossing for Martin. The striker beats Luiz to the ball but his header is misguided, looping into the air and into Schwarzer’s arms.
5'
After that shaky start from the Blues following Schwarzer’s panicky clearance, it’s been all Chelsea. The Blues have seen all of the ball, but haven’t troubled the Derby defence as of yet.
4'
Wonderful run from Oscar who picks up the ball on the right flank and travels towards the Derby box. Nutmegging one defender, he opts not to pass to Eto’o and loses the ball just inside the penalty area.
3'
Poor start from the hosts. The ball travels back to Luiz who, under pressure, plays it back to Schwarzer. The keeper completely fluffs his kick and sends it into touch.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have David Luiz back from suspension and the Brazilian goes straight into the starting XI. Frank Lampard, Branislav Ivanovic and Marco van Ginkel all miss out through injury, but John Obi Mikel starts and makes his 300th appearance for the Blues.
14:00
The big news for the hosts is that goalscoring midfielder Craig Bryson is not fit enough to feature for his side. He picked up a knock on Boxing Day and had a late fitness test ahead of today’s game but hasn’t recovered sufficiently.

Jose Mourinho has stated that his side will not take their Championship opponents lightly. He said: “Do we lose? Do we win? Who knows? At least the message is we respect them and we go there with the best possible team. I think the players are also keen on it, to go with a strong side and at least tell our opponent that we are going there with maximum respect."

However, since Steve McLaren has taken over the Rams they have won 10 of their 15 games and are now the Championships leading goalscorers with 48 goals from their 24 games. It’s sure to be a big ask to overcome Chelsea today, but with eight wins from their last ten games, they couldn’t have hit form at a better time to face the Blues.

Jose Mourinho’s men have been in good form of late and enjoyed a successful festive period, where they claimed 19 points out of a possible 24 in the league. The Blues are sure to feel confident of going to Pride Park today and progressing into the fourth round.
