In the end that was all rather easy for Real Madrid. Almeria were stubborn opponents at times but Ancellotti's side just had too much quality for them. Isco was impressive, as was Illarremendi who grew into the game in the middle alongisde Alonso. Although they'll be worried about the injury to Ronaldo.

Bale cuts inside off the left wing, on to his right foot, and draws a finger-tip save from Esteban in the Almeria goal. He's made countless saves tonight and that was another good one!

Considering the number of chances Real Madrid have created tonight Almeria might be a little fortunate to be losing this game 5-0. It could have been double figures! That's ho dominant they've been.

Three minutes of stoppage time to be played at the end of the second half.

I've been very impressed with Rodriguez since he came on. In fact, it's been a good all-round performance by Real Madrid, even if Ronaldo has taken a minor knock. It looked fairly minor to me, anyway.

This result will put Real Madrid temporarily ahead of Atletico Madrid in the league table. Of course, Diego Simeone's side face Getafe after this game finishes.

Bale has now switched to the left side. I'm not sure if that's an instruction from Ancelotti. I think it's more likely to be Bale getting frustrated at how every move is coming down that side at the moment.

Soriano unleashes a vicious drive towards goal after Lopez touched a cross into the Almeria striker's path. However, Rodri, who is lying on the floor, gets in the way of the shot! Might have been heading in, you know.

Brilliant effort by Casemiro hits the post! He must've been 25 yards out, bending a low drive towards goal. Somehow he hit the inside of the woodwork and still managed to keep the ball out of the net!

Rodriguez looks lively and wants to add his name to the goal sheet. In case you hadn't noticed Real Madrid have had five different scorers tonight.

The scary thing for Almeria here is that there's still time for Real Madrid to add a couple more here. The home side look completely deflated and devoid of ideas or even motivation.

You just get the feeling that Real Madrid are starting to find their stride under Ancelotti. They've scored 20 goals in their last four games. Great goalscoring form.

GOAL! Almeria 0-5 Real Madrid (80 mins - Alvaro Morata). And there's the fifth for Ancelotti's side. Morata breaks the offside trap and chips the goalkeeper. Audacious finish!

This game is waring out as a contest but you still get the sense that Real Madrid could add couple more before full time.

Bale has slotted nicely into this Real Madrid. Of course, he missed a great chance earlier in the game but he provides a huge threat on the right hand side of this team. Frightening, actually.

This scoreline doesn't really flatter Real Madrid too much, but it was just surprising that it took them so long to add to Ronaldo's early opener. But now they look to be hitting their stride. Isco has been impressive.

With that change Real Madrid are now playing a young, new look front three of Casemiro, Morata and Rodriguez. Something for the future?
